i have a 1986 truck that i just bought and i love it. the sound of the carburetor, the sound of the motor even tho my tranny is a 4 speed but runs really strong. love these trucks
When I die I want to be reincarnated as your truck! It was cool spotting my beloved Cape Breton Highlands National Park from your earlier travels, now I need to get out and see all those other spots!
I have a 99 tacoma with 120K, and just acquired a 79 toyota pickup from an uncle with 69K, I gonna drive those two trucks until they die...if I live long enough.
I was just given one a couple weeks ago in exchange for some consulting services, and all it needs is a paint job and a passenger side mirror replacement. The guy has the camper shell in his back yard but I don't think I'm going to use it. Instead, I'm going to employ the truck to pull a camper I'll go out and find. I am stoked!
I wish I took more pics of my 84 during the last 24 years. These older trucks are just indestructible. I could never get rid of mine at any price. Heck, I still have to chase people away who consistently pester me to sell it. This happens on a monthly basis.

I have a 1985 toyota truck that looks just like that. It has not been driven in 3 or 4 years. Hopefully, I will get it out this summer.

Where does Oregon have salt flats? (4:00 min mark) Looks eerily like a Nevada shot

You're close. It's on Alvord Lake in southeastern Oregon. Not a stop light for miles!
