  • p.s your welcome to join my party and accompany us on our endeavors as well!!

  • my friends andrew jacob and I do this quite aften actually. i recently went on a camping trip and we explored drark spawn infested woods as new grey warden recruits with spears that were crafted our selves (pointy sticks), maybe some time i should bring my camera along with us. =P

  • This reminds me of the times when I played kinights with my freinds. Just a qeustion where did these times go. Why is it so bad to be imaginative and travel past the "Seeing". Why must all think that we are childish or immature for never dulling or leaving these fun times behind.

  • @mrdomomaster345 For me, it all comes down to an individual's perspective and attitude. We see the world as we are. I have found that the more I accept my imaginative side, my youthful side, the more the world around me seems to accept it.

  • @repsesper Thank you for your anserw, you didnt have to, but still thank you.

  • Watching his lantern slowly move away reminds me of field of mist

  • Didn't picture him that way

  • My theory is proven. All. Cool. Nerds. Have. Cats. The end.

  • Man, this really reminds me of all the fun adventures I would have with my friends. I think it'd be kinda cool if you and a few of your buddies got together to make a short movie of an adventure of your's and you could have them as the enemies and/or party members. Just go in looking for treasures and then suddenly the enemies appear trying to keep you from taking your treasure and you could either improvise or base it off of D&D dice rolls and strategy . (Just an idea. Blame my creativity. lol)

  • I really wish there were places like this near where I live.

  • Sounds to me like an introduction for live action rpg

  • yes. more more is good. also damn sneajy little thief goblins.

  • shoudve ma a perception check

  • Will the party include you cat?.... Please?

  • Hmmm, a party would be good. I wonder what class you are? A ranger? I mean, you have your animal companion =D. And what level are you two on? Well, awesome video anyways, I love all your stuff and I think you are one of the better Dungeon Masters out there, someone who has a feel for atmosphere in that game, and that is what I like.

  • Reminds me of when i was younger , where i would make forts out of fallen trees in the woods near my house. My friends and i made so many cool forts. Mine was two trees which had fallen over each other , making it a mid-air fort. My friends was a handmade one that he made near an empty deer den. Was pretty cool stuff. It was so fun going in the woods every day , blazing new trails by knocking stuff out of the way , making a clear path. Ah the good ol' days.

  • @Aizuaka That's awesome. It reminds me of a place me and my friends would go to when I was younger.

  • Im glad to see im not the only one who does this kinda thing! If you do go again though, might i suggest some things ive learned in my journeys.

First; Never, upon any circumstances bring a halfling. Just don't.

Second, anticipate and prepare for any of the following.

Being caught ( and maybe mocked if you are all "garb'd" up or speaking in character", having someone get injured (from small cuts and bruises (which if they dont have your doing it wrong) to broken bones), or getting lost.

  • By the way i think your part wood elf...

  • Dude... you are the best!

  • This is Great! Ive been attracted to hidden places all my life and has a lot to do with my graffiti art adventures,Things is the cops become the goblins and it does become a real dangerous addiction and the only treasure is the freedom i feel in a art mission accomplished But in my older days i just go out with my camera and leave the paint at home.

    Love it Esper Keep Adventuring!

  • It is a portal to the shadowfell!

  • Man, if I lived closeby to Esper, I would totally join in the mad yet oh so enjoyable journies through the various Dungeons near his home. If I could convince my friends, maybe we could do the same thing at some point. Oh the epicness!

  • FOREVER ALONEEEEEEE ='E

  • We had a long and fairly large concrete pipe when we were kids. It went from one hillside, about 300-400 yards to the other side of the hill where there was a stream. It became a good fishing spot. :)

  • Ok, this has now inspired me to do the same thing.

I'll make my self a nice rogue's outfit, and head into the vast forests and mountains north of my homeplace!

  • If I live close to you you could expect me to be there for the next adventure! Your party might need the help of a Mexican-human Rouge.

  • the elves are watching you

  • nice vid

  • A dungeon by a waterfall? If it smells like chlorine around there, it would be a lair of a green dragon. Or if it has connections to a swamp, it might be home to a black dragon. Or it could just be a normal dungeon. Either way there's got to be something inside. (speaking from imagination of course.)

  • So, the goblins changed the place where they hide their Hubcap of Protection from Cops + 3, it would seem. Perhaps, if you can solve Victoria's Secret, you'll dispell the Montgomery Ward and gain access to the Lady Dior, and she can tell you where the goblins have taken it?

  • Ah, my goofy sweetheart. Looks like fun. As for your leg muscles, you just need to work them out more .;)

  • 'I dont really know what I'm going to find... Maybe some giant rats, maybe some skeletons... maybe some goblins... Perhaps some 14-year-old taggers.'

it was fun, it's always good to look at the world through the eyes of your imaginative child.

  • I did this kind of stuff on the bike path near my house. My best friend and I went on to private property without even knowing :)

The treasure answer is easy to answer. Find something interesting :)

    Awesome video.

  • Is this an homage to Mazes and Monsters?

  • This kind of makes me want to play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Since D&D night was yesterday I have to wait a whole week.

  • THANK DIO! While the dagger of fate series is alright, this just felt a little more d&d.

  • what level are you

  • @EvilJaime must be lv 1 he said at the end it was his first adventure what i want to no is what class is he?

(girlfriend: he lost his adventuring virginity? ......o.O)

  • @EvilJaime He is clearly level 16 druid! ;3

  • dude if i had time and money to get to where you live i would totally form a party with you! XD but i dont have either time or money so that kinda sucks

  • Came across your videos a few weeks ago man, lovin them, love listening to your adventures. and now, watching you own real life ones, may have to do that myself sometime soon

I myself play 3.5 out of preference but 4th looks quite interesting after watching your videos, but generally overall your DM'ing is very inspiring, i'm actually starting to DM soon after being a player a long time

ok long ass comment done :P

  • goodthing there were no Ghouls

  • what class are you while adventuring?

  • dude, shoulda bought a bullseye lantern instead...

  • @freespace21 Haha, I was thinking the same thing while I was in there...

  • Excellent! real life esper's adventure!

  • And thus larping was born!! lawl that's awesome.

  • Damn, that is so nice ! The only thing i have near my home is a beach and some clubs, no dungeons or forests.

This is really living an adventure ! :)

  • ...badass...but...maybe not a good idea to crawl through random drainage tunnels? lol

  • beautyful forest it speaks to my inner druid.

  • Haha. I love you, man. Epic video.

  • Great stuff esper! i love watching all of your videos. Best dungeon master ever in my opinion. Thumbs up if you agree!

  • @mucustiger Thank you so much, I am honored that people are entertained/inspired by my weirdness/passions.

  • @repsesper LOL I'm just about to DM for the first time in my life! :D... <:'( I wish I was just half as "weird"! :D

  • @repsesper the weirdness is the best

  • Nice adventure here, looking forward to your future ones. The physical strain you experienced reminds me of the gladiator fights I had tonight using the Playstation Move. So I asked my opponent, "How in the world did soldiers of old fight for many hours straight hacking and blocking?" I cannot imagine being armored, carrying arms and marching miles only to be faced with charging into a grand melee and fighting until dusk. Adrenaline would have been long spent I would think. Only sheer will.

  • @TowerGuardDM yeah man, will to survive. the possibility of freedom. this is what drove a gladiator. most of them were slaves after all.

  • @TowerGuardDM Conditioning. We can be conditioned to do pretty much anything. I mean, it's not like they had YouTube back then to turn them into lazy wimps with no stamina.

Oh, and I'm glad you are enjoying my videos. Keep up the good work yourself.

  • @TowerGuardDM when it came to sword figting the men at the front would fight for 5 to 20 minuets depending on army since the armour worn by foot knights was insane then they would go to the back as each line took it in turn to fight so they had a small breath of air food or medical care. When it comes to heavy armour its not about cutting but beating your oponent to death inside their armour. this was used to its advantage during 300 spartans battle hope that explains

  • dude thats freaking cool why would there be a random opening like that
