I was in Cap- Haitien last week and enjoyed it. The buildings have have a stately aire. The people are welcoming and friendly.I also enjoyed the Marche de Fer. I took the Caribe Tours bus from Santiago in the DR. It is the main Dominican bus company. They handle all the border formalities and I didn't even have to leave the bus. Tourism can help the local economy and I wish more people would visit Haiti and find out what a beautiful country it is. I was safe both day and night.

I watch this clip with both joy and pain. Joy to see my hometown, pain to see how this beautiful city has reduced to damaged buildings & patholes. I know sooner once again Cap-Haitien will be the most beautiful city in Haiti.
