  • what did you run over at 1:27

  • @MyUnquenchableThirst That was just a piece of trash, it was pretty windy out.

  • I-4 SUCKS!!!!!! At least in Orlando

  • awesome vid wih awesome song

  • @gtasupergamerdude Thank you!

  • haha very nice vid. You gotta love Florida, glad I have family there now! In the Tampa Bay Area!

  • @slowmanEF Thank you!

  • Great music for the South but not for Florida..

  • There are only so many sub 3 Minute songs to pick from.

  • I'm from Tampa and haven't been back since 2005 I see a lot of progress on the part of the interstate from the beginning of the video to about 1:15. Great video.

  • Them, I used to live in Tampa as well , I left in 2001,,I missed it alot until I went back to vistit this Dec.

  • Only thing I miss about Tampa is family, friends, and seeing the water once in a while driving accross the bridges.

  • I miss the people, Tampa is some what liberal and not too religious, and I live in NC now and its pretty bible belty,,but Tampa looks like the crime areas are getting worse.

  • @Clemburke1111 Crime tends to run rampant in those somewhat liberal areas you seem to love.

  • @MrJesusweeps Actually if you read the Barna Study you will find that Christians have the highest crime and imoral life style while Atheist have the highestst morals and lowest crime rates, and this study was done by a christian group.

  • I'm a fan!!!

  • Thank you!

  • I live in Japan.

I am surprised that American EXPWAY is so wide.

  • Check some of my Atlanta videos, the roads there are much wider than this.

  • ha ha, you got that right. this actually looks pretty narrow and space congested. most freeways in the country are amazingly huge compared to most places in the world

  • Great video - I live in the Tampa Bay area!!!

  • What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law! It's nice to see I-4 @ 200 mph or so. And yes being a Floridian, we have some obnoxiously fast and slow drivers consuming the left lanes among other interesting habits.

  • it is not a disrespect for the law, its just speeding buddy. its not like its criminal activity. and if you lived road like us, youd understand that and youd do the same thing

  • Someone hasn't seen Smokey and the Bandit...

  • Great video man! Don't forget the other stars of that movie: the '77 Black Trans Am and Sheriff Buford T. Justice!

  • Sally Field later admitted to being an anorexic in that movie.

  • Damn straight with the statewide epidemic thing with the left lane. I normally have to keep my hand on the horn and flashers constantly. It is like a puzzle weaving around people, safely, of course.

  • RIP Jerry Reed, but Sally Field was anorexic at the time.

  • Great vid, and love the choice of music! One of these days, I'd like to watch Smokey and the Bandit for myself(since I sadly never have seen this movie).

BTW, what was roughly the route you took from Atlanta to get down to Florida, coastal Georgia, and South Carolina? I'm presuming you took I-75 south from Atlanta to get there, but just a wee bit curious. Seems like you did a rough I-75, I-275, I-4 to I-95 loop, but I'm sure you may've driven on a few local expressways beyond what I mentioned.

  • No, you pretty much nailed the route I took.

  • Dude you are absolutley right about waiting on the construction to be finished here.. Traffic's insane man. Its been like this since 2005

  • The last time I was in the Tampa-Orlando area, there was a hell of a lot of construction. Most of the construction seems complete, by seeing this video.

  • This looks like a really nice drive. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate!

I enjoyed the choice of music too. The original Smokey and the Bandit is probably my favorite "driving" movie. Oh, and Frog was quite the hottie back in the day....

  • This area has changed greatly in 10 years since I lived there.

BTW, I think Exit 6 was Orient Rd.

    Exit 1 was 20 and 22nd Street.

Columbus Drive exited on the left? That's new!

The construction has been going on for years.

and it's about time Malfunction Junction was done.

  • These interstate journey videos are great. Doesn't stop you even though gas is a pain?

  • This was part of my vacation, I bit the bullet on gas.

  • Why was interstate four built

  • To cross and connect central Florida with the coastal areas.

  • It doesn't cross any state borders.

  • Great video and choice of music. 5 stars.

  • awesome shit man!! jus awesome!a bit longer would be nice though. And good choice of song too!

  • Thanks! I could not make it any longer even if I wanted to as the rains came in too heavy to film, I had to play the hand Mother Nature dealt me on this one.
