We Colombians don't like each other. If it were not for fucked up governments back in the day we wouldn't b in this hell we living in Colombia. Cause all Colombians know that the army kills as many civilians as guerrillas do. There r social as well as racial tensions. So like I said the U.S. is to blame 4 the addiction of its citizens, n supplying da weapons, but we r the ones asking 4 weapons, pulling triggers.Colombians we should hold ourselves accountable b4 any one else!
Does the U.S & other countries contribute to our hell in Colombia? YES. But as a Colombian I would say this, our biggest problem aren't the Europeans/Americans is US. Colombians biggest problem are other Colombians. We don't like each other, one region doesn't like people from other regions, the top 1% of the population own over 90% of the wealth. We're the ONES KILLING EACH OTHER. WE SOUND LIKE BLACK AMERICANS BLAMING THE WHITE MAN FOR THEIR PROBLEMS WHEN BLACKS KILL MORE BLACKS. WE R THE SAME
I had one brother in-law die of a Cocaine overdose (injected a gram). He was only 31 and left 2 kids without a dad. Sad story, but truth is in my family about a dozen family members have drank themselves to death. Most families have at least 1 person, if not a dozen that drank themselves into an early grave. Is Coke bad? I guess so, but nothing like alcohol. I'm a "dry" alcoholic, but alcoholism runs in my family. Addiction is NOT a crime, it's a medical problem. Coke should be legal...
Legalize, Tax and Regulate Cocaine. I haven't done a line of coke since 1979 but I've known people who are social users throughout my entire life. If Cocaine was legal we could tax it and have some control over it's distribution. All this "military" BS with BlackHawk Helicopters, machine guns, jungle warfare would end almost immediately. We would save thousands of lives and billions of dollars. Cocaine is no worse than Vodka. People who become addicted are no worse than alcoholics...
after spending billions n billions of dollars trying to stop drugs dont they jus get it there here to stay nobody can stop cartels they will always find a way to smuggle them in...in my opinion let it be and use those hundreds of billions for something more reproductive
I agree that its really sad that people are being mistreated in the production of cocaine. If the rebels and the government could come to a peace and end the war while finding a way to reconcile and integrate, wouldn't they still produce cocaine? Don't hate the drug or the users hate human corruption.
what makes me REALLY Angry the most is that people talk soooo much shiet about my country when the U.S is COLOMBIA'S NUMBER 1 COCAINE COSTUMER i wouldnt doubt if the government members are Sniffing a line right now, we do produce coke and all that but the U.S sniffs it all so how does that make us bad and the rest good???? ALL THE NATIONS HAVE THEIR OWN PROBLEMS SOME WORSE THEN OTHERS BUT DONT CRITIZE AND CREATE A BAD IMAGE JUST TO COVER YOUR OWN FUCKING DIRT!!!!!!
You are correct the United States is the contributing trigger that entices sales of cocaine from Columbia however dont be talking crap about covering YOUR OWN FUCKING DIRT inspite of what you hear were not stupid.. obviously someone very high in the sky in Americans haver hands in the cocaine trade and we will be the first to say so as Americans.
You just made the image of Colombia and Colombians even worse. Being a Colombian-American and constantly visiting Medellin, you can blame the drug problem more on Colombia's poverty intertwined with it's decades old rebels.
In a true free country/world economy, people should produce and sell whatever they want within legalistic boundaries and taxation systems that allow the respective givernments to continue to make their money in "civilized" ways.
The bourgeois pigs who buy the man-made cocaine substance should die for choosing to use. The US has far more problems than cocaine use, and could use the money they funnel to Colombia for far better causes like the piss-poor public education and public healthcare systems we lack. Alcohol and nicotine are far worse killers and people that use and abuse pay. It is the users that should suffer, not the people that have the crop
It seems like a big complicated mess with a simple solution. First of all, Columbia itself, needs to make growth of the plant a legitimate industry, and employ the guerillas who enter their "line of work" due to lack of any oher means. Empower the people who own the land that grows this precious crop to make money of what is properly theirs. Rather than a nation killing itself.
hey smart ass they did that already.try to employ 23 thoused rebels and make them fit into suciety thats har (1) it cost wayyyy to much money (2) that can turn out wrong and they can cause alot of trouble in urban areas
look up one of original reasons sited to make coke illegal in the early 1900's Blacks can't control themselves on coke, they will start raping white women 100yrs later we find that really didn't pan out the way they thought, but makes good business for jails, lawyers, police, prisons, and all the supplies for those fields. What would happen if that was legal all those people, gangs would be out of work it's lies,on top of more lies, and some more lies. Then tons of money to be made on BOTH sides
excuse me but what does race have to do with someone raping someone. What is up with all the white against black and vice versa dialogue. Must you perpetuate a stereotype or create a notion even further creating negative and racist ideas. Come on now. That is not right.
I never said it was right, I said reason in history, I wasn't making the reasons for the laws. Look it it up under history of Drugs. That was a real reason. I know it's BS. But the more public knows the better. I'm not judging anyone by race.
Of course the US government wants to keep drugs illegal, how else would we be able to fund FARC, the Taliban and Mexican cartels without being blatant about it?
i guess all information is sensitive for the right sources so not everybody can be informed on everything because this is dangerous hence this has been released slowly
