It pained her as much as it could to do that to her old pupil and partner. To fall from grace of her beloved motherland. It was never easy for her, never...! So, don't call her a bitch. @5Sush0 Only if you mean at the end, but still it wouldn't work out. That's the whole point of the plot. The Boss had to betray her country because of loyalty. Loyalty to the end. She was so in love of her homeland that she even had to defect it in order to save it. Remember that Russia asks the U.S.A. to kill the Boss to demonstrate their "innocence" or else, they would launch a nuclear assault on America. Get it, now?

@noobkiller837 Unfortunately no, the HD collection doesn't have mgo1, apparently Hideo's reason was that we have a better version of mgo on mgs4, which is bull in my opinion but what you going to do. However, Peace Walker does have its multiplayer co-op.

The only reason I've never gotten into MGS games is because of how long the cutscenes are. If they were 5 minutes is one thing, but 7, 10+ minutes?

Yes you'll miss out on the story, but if you cared you wouldn't care about cutscenes' length, I only notice when I watching them on YouTube.
