@henryhellerdale you are probably right. that day someone had something similar to silverbacks and they were brand new. he ripped a lug out of the tire. i felt bad for him, he had to get a new tire and his day was over . i also like the tracks in the winter. its a different ridding experience.
In certain situations tires can be better due to the floatation they provide by being balloon shaped and full of air. Tracks are better as far as traction is concerned in 90% of conditions.
oh and i have thrown a track playin in the same little hole that is in my video. I had a track ajusted a little loose and popped it off in a rut. had to take a crow bar to get it back on until i could get it home and tighten it.
the tread on them tracks sucks. I have some tjd cattracks that i use only for mudding and they are badass. I have one video that aint that good right now but ill get some good ones on hopefully within a few weeks.
once i slipped a track i dont know how but i did . and broke the front diff. i hit a culvert in deep snow i could not see it. beside that no you cant throw a track
No they aren't. Polaris makes 2 different tracks, 1 is snow only.....the other is 4 season. The difference is the track material is harder, for 4 season.
The Prospector Pro tracks are designed for all-season use. I have a set that I use in deep snow to access a mountain transmitter site. For the most part they work great but it is possible to dig into a hole and then you are REALLY stuck.
i paid 4100 they are good in mud and snow. i can get 100 km/h on level road and yes you can get stuck in deep snow or mud they are not unstopable but they are better then any tire in the mud and better then a sled at low speed only.
they are worth the money the reason his tracks are spining is because he doesn't have a big track lug if you are going to buy tracks get some with some good grip other wise they just turn into slicks in the mud and spin as you can see i have a pair of mattracks for myt popo 800 it is dope goes anywhere
Pretty Awesome mud!

Cool machine!
Have you ever sliped out of a track, or would it be possible to loose a track in rough terrain?

That was one bad mud hole. I can't believe you were able to pull out of that thing. For a moment it looked like you were hopelessly stuck!

i know it was pretty muddy, but an alarming amount of track spin, are they worth the money?
