  • they should hand out needles and have a class on how to use it safely. 75 students with over 100 grand in drugs, weapons and cash. Institute of lower living more than a college campus.

  • @GoldenRing1989 or stay in kentucy and drop out of school, or NY and eat street meat, or nevada and prostitute yourself, or florida and grow old, or michigan and get preggers at 15, or rhode island and speak french, or georga and join KKK, have I hit where you live yet?

  • @GoldenRing1989 im not going to respond to any of your disrespectful rant towards CA. even though your puttin a target on your back to be responded to by anyone with a high school education. im a CAian. i dont fit your narrow minded cereal reference. but isnt the point your missing is that their should be a state (of mind) (not ironic their called states) for every type of american you have a choice to stay in Texas and execute the mentally retarded or Utah and marry 3 wives. Do u see now?

  • @GoldenRing1989 lmao enforce the laws is that what you think the drug war is??? the founding fathers never wanted to let the goverment have this much control the drug war is just a bureaucracy that instills fear into the mind of there citizens so we think theyre doing something so important that we should pay for it. go suck your dads trailer trash chode

  • @MrDv23 You are wrong about the founding fathers; they themselves were deceptive and wrote the constitution in secret to hide it from the people in the area. The language used in the constitution was deceptively written on purpose. Did you know we still pay millions if not billions in recompensatory tithes to England each year! It is all fraud and deception, trust no one but your loved ones.

  • @GoldenRing1989 fuck you

  • smoke weed. im from belton texas!

  • Isn't drug use a personal choice? And, aren't personal choices a matter of Liberty?

  • Its all true, drugs will always be there, if people want them, they will get them. ive got 2 fucked up charges. fuck these people.

  • ... and I had to shell out of pocket to get my teeth fixed because there is no health care in this country.

  • i am marijuana smoke and a marijuana legalzation advocate but i support this drug raid if there is LA gang members setting up a narcortic ring in side a college then go bust there ass

i think that the frat boys selling hydro isnt the issue i dont think there bad but cocaine on the other hand is fucked up

ssdp is fucking retarded schools not prisons?? what dumb ass logo

no one goes to prison for smoking marijuana they get a year on probation

normal and safer is cool though i like them

  • I would not support those persons having guns were too much. Cannabis business I agree its ok but having guns on campus its stupid.

    Legalize it.

  • The Bushes were so anti-drug and pro-prohibition because they had direct links to Texas drug traffickers. South Texas drug traffickers are some of the wealthiest dealers in the USA.

  • Search Youtube for HOW WEED WON THE WEST

...featuring Jonathan Perri, SSDP Outreach Director

    watch?v=MzT1a1NKoKM

  • so wrong

  • lets get active!!! cannibus career institute!!!!!

  • I have been telling people this verse for a long time and i'm not even religious

  • If we legalize hemp and buds it will really help our economy lol

    and its safe!!

  • It would help the economy. It would (and already has) cure cancer. Search Rick Simpson. It would replace... Wood for paper Oil for fuel Oil for plastic Fish Oil Pressboard Cotton Makeup Kemo Therapy The list of good from this plant is insane. This is just off the top of my head.
  • I think point of the video is that these kids are doing this for "whatever reason." I know why they're doing it: Money, and Sex. Drugs in illegality are a commodity that can be readily invested in by anyone that's cool enough to pass muster with the big sellers. SSDP's point I think is that if this commodity was Gov. regulated these kids would have to find some other way to make money and gain influence.

  • all these kids should be arrested they knoew what they did was wrong they dont need education wtf is this

  • wtf? What kind of school is that where at any given time you can find $100,000 in contraband.

  • Ignorant college kids

  • Instead of juvenile name calling why not debate their views?

  • One cannot debate sensibly with people who sell illegal drugs. One of the students arrested asked if his arrest would affect his possibility of working in federal law enforcement? This is how ignorant these "smart" college kids are, to think that this was not that severe. I am not arguing with the fact that we need to do something, other than fill our prisons with people. This does not mean that we should let these people off scott-free. They still need to be punished, as anyone else would be.

  • Switzerland recently formalized an experimental program set up in the 90s, where heroin addicts, failing treatment, would receive pure heroin, cut with non-lethal substances, in a gov't lab, given a clean needle every time, and must do it in a safe building with medical supervisors nearby if something goes wrong.

  • It's worked tremendously well, crime committed by heroin users is down 60% since its implementation a victory the war on drugs can never achieve. Not only that but 2/3s of the users hold jobs and pay taxes

  • This is why the dealers/distributors should be punished. They feed off from others addiction. I have never argued that a user should be put behind bars. I remember being offered an "8-ball" years ago. If I had not known the dangers of addiction, I might have tried it. I could have been hooked, if I had tried the stuff. My point is, we definitely need to educate our kids so they do not take that first step. There are significant health risks (withdrawals) of just "locking up" drug abusers.

  • Of course drugs are dangerous, and we should educate people to their dangers; see how this has worked with tobacco, how after education its use has gone down. But you have to realize people have, and will always do drugs legal or illegal. Now ask yourself do you want these drugs to be controlled by gov't and business or violent criminals? The prohibition of drugs causes more violence than the drugs themselves.

  • Please realize that once you prohibit a substance you give up all control over it. Example: It is much easier to obtain heroin than Vicodin. I don't want anyone ruined by drugs bu this drug war has claimed so many lives, created so many drugs, given so much profit to the violent and wicked, imprisoned so many innocent or merely for possession(without intent to distribute), that reform of some kind must be made, as it is clear that the war on drugs cannot work.

  • maybe if college wasnt so damn expensive they woulda just got regular part time jobs. lol!

  • you can fight an addiction not a conviction.. very true

  • Taxation and regulation is the key to fighting the drug problem. Addiction is a public health problem, not a criminal one. How is someone a criminal if all they do is overdose on meth, for instance? Who else are they endangering?? There is such a thing as responsible drug use, contrary to the propaganda the cops and teachers feed elementary school students in the useless D.A.R.E program.

  • do you really trust our government with regulating the drugs you take? ill trust the street dealers and their unknown substances before ill trust the government...

    decriminalization is what we need

  • ok, i dont trust the government or the street dealers. but i do trust a private market where there is fair competition. the govt would regulate the laws, not make the product. it would be just like alcohol except instead of Jack Daniels you'd have Jack-Smokes-Alot. lol! so yeah legalization, regulation, taxation, and decriminalization are all needed. plus taxing would get us outa this huge deficit.

  • The term "drug culture" is like saying there's an "alcohol culture" on campus. Sure, a lot of people drink, esp. young people, but that's because they LIKE to! A lot of young people and people in general like to get drunk or high. The term "alcohol culture" or "drug culture" somehow implies that since so many people do it, they're gonna force everyone else to get high or drink, and everyone in class will be stoned or drunk. How about "cigarette culture"? Never hear that term.

  • What's this "drug culture" bullshit on the headline? There's no such thing as a "drug culture!" Most people do drugs because they want to. That whole peer pressure thing is largely a myth. There aren't dealers standing right outside every school trying to force you to toke up. They're not harassing potential buyers. They're like any other salesman.

So many lies are told about drugs and the drug war in this country. You're expected to believe that even if you do it once, you can die.

  • Our culture in America is so damn afraid of drugs, it's insane! We have this irrational and paranoid fear of drugs, even responsible drug use. Yes, there are addicts, but there are still quite a few people who don't OD and go to the hospital. There are people who do coke or weed and live productive lives. And what about alcohol or cigarettes? They kill way more people than illegal drugs. Drunk driving kills thousands, while no one has ever died from "high driving."

  • All drugs should be legalized. Not only because the law has no real deterrent effect, but because legalisation means CONTROL. Today we give criminals and terrorists 100% control of this market, which means NO FUCKING CONTROL AT ALL. If you support prohibition, you support terrorists with the third larges market in the world (after weapons and oil). Be proud.

  • All Drugs even meth ,and coke ? and you want to legalize that and give the power to the goverment ?

  • dude i prefer that the government handles the drugs than the drug dealers....and marijuana dose not cause overdose, only real drugs, like crak and coke, and to the people who are adicted need help, and no prison.....

  • Read Back I never said any thing about marijuana overdose I am talking about

Meth, coke, crack ect..... HOW CAN THE government Handle that ?

  • the same way they handle prescribed drugs, it is a little obvious.

  • Are you joking CRACK KILLS no doctor would prescribe that , and many know of the ATROCITIES that Meth dose to the human body.

  • dude oviusly no doctor will prescibe it! don't be an ignorant, do you think a little kid raised in the ghetto who sees drugs everyday, and sees people buy the bad drugs, crak, heroin, meth, what is he going to think,? that drugs are not bad..it is better and safer for everybody that the government to have it.

  • I know, but they have no problem perscribing Speed (Adderal), Cystal meth (Desoxyn), SSRIs (Xanax, Paxil, Prozac), Opiates (Oxycodone, Codeine, Morphine).

  • The key word is Prescribed are you saying doctors don't know what they are doing ?

because if you are your way off doctors save people. they do not kill them

  • I think what PartVIII is trying to say is that people can get addicted to opiates and other drugs much more easily than cannabis. And you can't overdose marijuana, and it isn't physically addicting. Many people are prescribed oxycotin for chronic pain, and end up turning into a drug addict. If we prescribed those people marijuana instead, it would be much safer.

  • Controlled Alcohol = No Violence. Alcohol abuse = Violence. Smoking = Cancer. Controlled Smoking = Cancer. Controlled Marijuana = Opens your mind ? (NO it only makes you think your smarter) Marijuana abuse = Retardation. I say you can keep your open minds, and Retardation. If your willing to give up Violence Cancer and so on..

  • Hickville drugs that kill, and DONT HELP WILL NEVER BE LEGALIZED and terrorist only make and sell the killing kind of drugs. So to legalize killer drugs is stupid , because you would only be killing people. And If you don't support prohibition you support killing. And your WRONG the I don't support terrorist, it the people who buy and sell those kind of drugs that support them. So next time get it right.

  • "The killing kind of drugs"? You're completely ignorant on this issue, and should probably educate on yourself on it before you embarass yourself further. Heroin is a relatively benign drug given in clean, controlled dosages, as evidenced by the policies put in place across Europe . Drugs become A LOT more dangerous when they are illegal, and it also drives those that get addicted (only a minority of users of ANY drug btw) to commit crimes to support their habit. We all loose. Especially addicts

  • Heroin is HIGHLY addictive any educate person would know why its is prohibited for medical use in most countries. Apparently it is you that is ignorant because there are a lot of Heroin addicts that have die in EUROPE of all places. A place that is also addicted to opium, and guess what OPIUM is one of the best drug sources of money for Terrorists . Just ask any soldier

  • You do know that this government ships most of the heroin into this country right? Oh so convenient that once the Taliban is gone, opium starts growing once again. All that terrorist nonsense is the biggest lie...oh its controlled by terrorists alright, yeah, but you wont find them hiding in caves in Afghanistan....no they are hiding in plain sight right there in Washington and on Wall Street. The drug war is simply a cash machine for the Prison/Industrial complex.

  • so im assuming youre against needle exchange programs to reduce the spread of AIDS and other diseases?? lol

and if u dont mind me asking...what drugs have u done? or do u just like to banter about things in which u have no personal experience? i dont sky dive...so i dont give my opinions on how to do it safely, par examplar. (thats french for "for example")

  • Medicine in moderation, can save lives. If you want to believe that the extensive use of cigarettes, methamphetamines, crackis not dangerous, then your wrong. I dont pour gas on my nuts, and then set myself on fire..so I dont give my opinions on how to do it safely.

  • ...u obviously missed my point and make absolutely no sense. i never said nething about drugs not being dangerous. ur dumb

  • Gee what was your point, Lets all experiment because its fun right ? and its not like anyone is going to get addicted, and get long term damage over this stuff right ? How old are you 14 ?

  • my overall point is that the system in place right now hasnt, isnt, and will never work. ppl are still getting killed and the prison systems are over flowing while our tax dollars pay for it. yet some peopl (ie. you) are too stuck up ur own morally high assholes to see that changing things would cut down on crime, disease, and corruption. but oh no! you want to sit on ur high horse and judge ppl that r different from you n tell them how to live. and guess where it gets us? NO WHERE!

  • The system doesnt work because little children cant control themselves , and off the bat parents dont enforce anything, Teachers and security guards, would rather rape and beat them, than help them; in the worse geography of the world throughout history, the constant abuse of good people has more often than not made them evil. People turn to drugs when they have problems in life, hoping for relief, but they only find more despair.

  • thats a very naive statement. not all ppl using drugs find themselves looking for relief. im completely happy with my life and i use drugs. im in college, have a stable relationship, and a loving family. ive been disciplined all my life by my parents(i ALWAYS say mam and sir). im an avid horseback rider and compete in show jumping. and i made all A's last semester. idk why u assume everyone who does drugs is miserable because i and many ppl i know certainly are not...so there goes your theory

  • not all ppl using drugs find themselves looking for relief. sure not the ones that die from it, or the ones that currently suffer from prolonged use. And If your talking about Marijuana dont waste your time, I discarded that issue a long time ago. If your and friends are real immune to the effects crack and methamphetamines, then I would really love to see the scientific study on that.

  • thats seems to be the method of most people when they dont want to face the facts....discard the issue! oh yeah, thats really helping! (sarcasm)

  • If problems become potential solutions then why keep them as problems; what is wrong with not worrying about them, and discarding them ?

  • so ur agreeing that legalizing marijuana is a potential solution? because thats what this entire argument has been about and now ur just agreeing with me anyway. lol! do u kno where u really stand on anything at all??

  • NO its not what the whole argument was about , and if you read back and see what I was posting then youll know. Like I told you I discarded only that issue a long time ago, and that was pending that research would show that there was no serious side effects.

  • well thats all i was arguing for...because thats what the damn video we are posting on is about!! so wtf are you talking about then?!

  • No The SDSU Drug Bust was about more Then marijuana they found other illegal drugs, and even stolen prescription drugs. There is more information out there. You can even see some of the other stuff in the video.

  • If Cops would stop taking bribes, if security guards would stop getting stoned with little kids, and if people with just stop poping out kids (that they arent going to take care of ) then we wouldnt have such a big drug problem. And giving people false hope is not the solution.

  • sounds like ur waiting for pigs to fly my friend...youre right, if ppl would be moral then things would be great. but ppl arent going to get more moral. cops arent gonna stop taking bribes because they dont get paid shit. and ppl arent gonna stop having kids. like ive stated, u cant legislate morals. ur still to busy judging ppl to look for a rational solution. stop being bitter and start thinking how to really help the situation. instead of just pointing out the problem, try to fix it

  • Whats with the double talk ? So the solution is people need to start doing the right thing the law needs to be enforce, But because some people are too Corrupt it is some how not the solution ? And WTF is wrong with judging anything ? You yourself are judging me.

u cant legislate morals dont have to its why we already have the laws in the first place.

And your statement that people dont get moral is arbitrary, because enforcing laws is how people learn to become moral.

  • im not double talking...thats what the law is trying to do, legislate morals. which makes no sense. ppl dont learn from laws, if they did we'd never have 2nd time offenders. and yes, because ppl r so corrupt it is NOT the solution. thats my point. ADDICTION is a medical issue not a law enforcement issue. there r no laws restricting the spread of disease, if u wana live unhealthy thats ur decision. lock up a dealer, someone else will take his place. its like trying to stop rain from falling.

  • People are not born knowing how to be moral or immoral, so morals are legislated to them; because if we never legislated anything before then no one would find anything wrong with killing, Stealing, rape, or murder. Morals are learned and become synonymous with the laws, of humanity in each and every nation. Laws must be enforced no matter how many people (drug dealers) want to break them.

  • actually ppl ARE born with an intrinsic sense of right and wrong. its called a conscience. basic psychology explains this. a normal person's brain patterns change when faced with words like killing, stealing, rape, or murder because they know (without man made law) that those things are wrong....where have you been for the past hundred years because that is common knowledge!

  • They learn what the emotions means from other humans, and react according. This intrinsic sense of right and wrong can, and is developed differently, some people get a rush out of doing what is generally considered to be wrong. And lets not forget the Psychopaths who wouldnt be considered to have ever been born with a conscience at all.

  • are u foreign? cuz i never fully understand what ur sentences mean...."They learn what the emotions means from other humans, and react according. "....what???

  • LOL ok monkey see monkey do is basically what I was saying there. Any doctor will tell you babies arent born knowing right from wrong, they learn by trail and error; and through out life it is still a learning process.

  • I'd say, a kid just knowing what death is, would automatically know killing others is wrong. Granted, they may have to learn through trial and error. As such, this shows their is preprogrammed moral system of a sort. Or, in general for most people. Some people by a genetic or environmental factor may not be able to relate or sympathize.

  • I think it was a failed attempt to sound like a smarty pants. Always proof read before you post. :p

  • And there are laws restricting the spread of disease, if you get aids then you have to report it, if you knowingly infect any one with a virus then you are responsible.

  • And this thing about our tax dollars has more to do with the federal reserve, the war,and the Bush Profiteering than anything else.

  • yeah, the federal reserve is joke. the war is a lie. and bush is a rich man because of it! we all know, we just dont do anything about it... man, we're a bunch of suckers huh?

  • Bingo people are to fucking lazy to do shit, and the ones that do get killed. JFK,

Martin Luther King, and many others I didnt mention.

  • People will continue to buy drugs even though they are illegal. When taken that FACT into account, we the people and our politicians are indirectly supporting terrorists by giving them this extremely lucrative market. If you're completely naive and think we actually can do ANYTHING to stop this through law enforcement and propaganda, I can see why you think you're not supporting terrorists. But the reality is that prohibition against consensual crimes like this have little to NO effect.

  • You're brainwashed. Drug money does NOT go to terrorists in this country! If anything, the amount that does go to terrorists is a very SMALL portion. What do the terrorists in Afghanistan grow? OPIUM! There are a lot more drugs than just that. I'm pretty sure the inner-city dealers are doing it to enrich themselves, not give to al Qaeda.

The US has some of the most insane drug policies in the world. We have the most insane ones for a democracy, that's for sure. Prohibition never works.

  • WRONG!!!!

Opium-It contains up to 10% morphine, an opiate alkaloid, which is most frequently processed chemically to produce heroin for the illegal drug trade.

  • Every kind of drug kills moron! Take thirteen aspirin and you're dead. prohibition kills HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS more than the actual illegal drugs. Prescription drugs kill more than all illegal drugs combined. Making ANYTHING illegal when there is demand for it will simply create a profitable black market run by violent criminals.

  • LOL "Take thirteen aspirin and you're dead." Wow LOL ya and if you eat too fast you can choke and die, whats your point that people too retarded like you to know how shit should work ? "Prescription drugs kill more than all illegal drugs combined." Wow So some people are stupid whats new ?

  • I guess we should illegalize the rape, sex slavery of women and little kids because there is demand for it, and if we dont violent criminals will simply create a profitable black market. No wait they already do that.

  • r u serious? rape and sex slavery are FORCED upon a person, unlike drugs, the ppl dont have a choice in the matter. and im sure if prostitution were legalized u'd see a drop in both. just like the demand for sex,the demand for drugs will always be there so fighting it is ridiculous. u cant legislate people's morals...if a motorcyclist doesnt want to wear a helmet then he shouldnt have to. yeah i'd say he's stupid, but its his right to be that way. my opinion shouldnt affect how he lives.

  • See my comments below on how gov't control and regulation of dangerous drugs like heroin is beneficial. No terrorist sells the poppy, cartel imports/refines it, no gang distributes it, the addicts never OD cause it is safely manufactured. No criminals profit from the trade because there is no longer a black market. Oh, and as for the herb=retard studies have shown that cannabinoids spur brain cell growth.

  • So I guess all those US soldiers were burning fields of the stuff just for the hell of it, and terrorist were bombing the shit out of them; not because they were losing money the fields just happen to be in the way ?"studies have shown that cannabinoids spur brain cell growth." source ? "Of course drugs are dangerous, and we should educate people to their danger" They know and they dont give a fuck some the fuckers what to die, you really think their are all uneducated ?

  • (University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon 2005 Xia Zhang) Prohibition creates artificial scarcity, interdiction creating inflated prices that turn a plant into something literally worth more than its weight in gold. Eradication punishes impoverished farmers who could be growing food for their country, while drug traffickers & warlords bribe local officials. With the failure of DARE, education seems unreliable; but if people will do drugs knowing the danger, why jail them for it? Victimless crime.

  • Not to mention our allies don't appreciate our efforts. Google :"US drug war endangers diggers" to see how our drug policies hurt our anti-Taliban efforts and cause tension with our allies. The more Poppies eradicated the more profit from cultivating them.

  • Legalize.

  • They are my heroes who arrested for weeds.

GO PIGS! Good job SDPD, DEA wasted their

    tax dollar for good!

  • I seriously doubt that all 75 would have graduated had they not have been arrested...

  • The US imprisons more than any other nation on earth or in history.
