Quick comment; it's so far down I don't know if you'll see it. I am a private pilot and have a GPS unit in my plane similar to the one in larger aircraft. If my cell phone is turned on, it has shut down my GPS navigation system several times. I could only imagine what would happen if a dozen people had theirs on. Mention to the passengers that it REALLY matters, ESPECIALLY on approach, where you are close to the ground!

i wanted to be a flight attendant for the summer a couple of years back, but the trainee camp was so late that i would've had to postpone my first semester i was about to start that fall, and so i couldn't do it. listening to you now really reminds of why i wanted to be a flight attendant back then. who knows, maybe i'll just do it someday. thanks so much for sharing your stories!
