why not to by an axe? cause every1 has it. once a product becomes that popular its originality get's lost. youre better of with systems no1 uses. for example this guy. no axe like some would expect. instead he uses Roland. love the sound dude

@oddfellowfloyd. All active electronics require batteries. You don't have to change them that often. Maybe every 3000 hours. Just unplug the guitar when your done playing

@CORNP00 you have to have a locking nut on your guitar for that to work, the Ibanez RG2228 is the only 8 string model that has a locking nut. To tell you the truth, it really doesn't make that big of a difference, the locking nut is kindof an extra thing that Ibanez decided to do with the guitar, they're not entirely necessary.
