  • So mad I lost this cd. :-/ I used to have this on straight repeat

  • [AS]

  • Man it is a breath of fresh air to hear genuine Hiphop instead of this mainstream garbage today with these guys their rapping about money, sex, getting girls drunk in the club, or it's all about me blah, blah, blah bullcrap today *sigh* it's sad

  • @zerosquadron1

    "Our ratio's replacing those

    Wannabes, you're facin' pros

    Screamin' bout your drugs, money,

    violence and fellatios"

  • @Onsube Did I just get trolled if so......whatever

  • @zerosquadron1 Those lyrics are from a rap called "Rockin' the Mic" by The Prunes.

  • @CeruleanStarlight A JSRF fan, huh?

  • @HDHipHop1 Eyup! (XD) I love the game; it's one of the first things that come to my mind when I hear the word "nonconformity".

  • I have to say, this is my favorite song on the album. They really put thorough thought into all of their songs, which makes me like them so much. Thanks for putting up one of my favorite songs HDHipHop1.

  • @Rama1118 The mastermind behind Psyche O, Wyzstzik, always brings exceptional talent and thought to the songs he makes. My favorite PO song is actually Dead Right. Just can't beat Captain Mudfish's production on that song. I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for commenting.

  • @HDHipHop1 Yea, anytime. Thanks.

  • @HDHipHop1 do you know if Wyzstzik is still making music, or has any other stage names? There's got to be more music like this somewhere >.>

  • @invertedteapot Wyzsztyk also goes by the aliases Mr. Wizard and Charlie Hustle. He uses the Charlie Hustle moniker as part of his live funk/hip-hop group, The MInd Creatures. So yes, he's still out there, doing his thing, churning out underground hits, and being thoughtful as hell. As for Synthesis and Dainja, I'm not sure what they're up to.

  • @invertedteapot This is a little late but I'd done some digging and discovered a few nuggets. Apparently Psyche Origami teamed up with Barcelona-based producer El Chavo for a collab released by Jakarta Records, Selectah. They recently teamed up again on EC's Molts Records release El Gegant de Ferro EP, appearing on the track Beast Within. Also DJ Dainja provides cuts for Chavo's Bravo, another song from that EP.

  • @HDHipHop1 awesome, haha. might I ask where is a good source to start doing some digging of my own? I've never really been into the music scene, I just stumble across stuff I like, so I dont know what a good source is...

  • @invertedteapot I know this is cliche as hell but Google is your friend. Every source I've stumbled upon originated from Google. Creative Loafing is a good start. It's ATL-based so it covers PO's music. Creative Loafing is where I found out about The MInd Creatures. Check bandcamp.com and if the artist have one, their Myspace page. Bandcamp is where I found out about Psyche's collab with El Chavo. Also, check out an artist's record label for any other releases they might have on said label.

  • I haven't listened to this song in over 4 years. This is really bringing me back.

  • @Mugen123456789 I'm glad this hit that nostalgia spot. : )

  • Damn good tune, right here.

  • This is so awesome.

  • @hypertreb Yes!

  • Did all of the songs from this album get delete from YT? I remember finding this song and it had well over 200,000 views. The corporate fucks think they can silence beautiful poetry. They can keep dreaming.

  • I'm so glad only a selecct few know about these guys.... Awesomeness shouldn't become mainstream

  • @crazymansam0 It wouldn't hurt for more people to know about Psyche Origami. Hell, if more people knew about PO, plud were buying their albums, their record label, ArcTheFinger, might not have gone under.

  • @HDHipHop1 true but still...

  • @crazymansam0 Even if they did become mainstream, I'm not sure very many people would like them, even though they're amazing. I have a few friends who listen to mainstream stuff and whenever I show them anything like this they think it's bad. Weird, huh XD

I even have one friend who won't listen to anything largely focused on the background music because it's 'hard to concentrate on the words', plus she hates instrumentals (even Nujabes), songs not in English and anything even remotely jazzy.

  • @Nintendosaiyan3 That's just unfortunate.

  • At last, some hip-hop.

  • @Putrid186 I know right? Thank you for commenting.
