I actually quite like Julia in this song.

The difference between her and Lisa is not that Lisa is better, but the way her voice reacts to Damien's. Lisa and Damien both have strong, powerful voices that can weave in and out of each other. Julia's voice, on the other hand, demands attention despite its quiet vulnerability. Really, she is a great compliment to Damien and I think their future songs together will be beautiful.

I agree that Lisa is the bomb (even if her solo music is weak). She still has the voice of an angel, but you can't compare every girl that sings with Damien to her or you'll dissapoint yourself every time. I wish just as much as everyone else that they were back to making music together, but it may never happen again. So I guess we'll have to settle for lower class replacements.

yeah this is top top notch - the lyrics are really different from classic damo stuff - usually all of his songs are more to do witht he raw feeling and the mood given to the listener by the actual composition (ie. then go), but this has that aspect and very emotive lyrics, its very bright eyes in places, i ADORE it. the quality is also 10/10, brava!
