@glasgow1234 I'm sorry but "seeing" countries doesn't make them so. Scotland has not and will not vote to leave the union. The Union Jack would remain as it is in the event however as the precedence has been set when Ireland left the union. It also makes sense in the fact my family down the years fought and died under that banner and through it we pay respect to all of the British soldiers who died. It may surprise you but the union jack is not a tired rag. New Zealanders can be proud to have it

@ecocotier For a very long time there have been a minority of Scottish people who have never liked the UK and wanted to become independent but now that minority is turning into a majority of Scots. It's not about not liking the UK, it's more about self determination. Scotland was a country before and we can be again. If New Zealand with a similar geographical size and population can be independent, then so can Scotland :)
