  • @oteplyakov probably the state of South Australia the people still sound a bit British

  • @paul00783 Thank you!

  • @oteplyakov There is no place in Australia where we have british accents. Nobody does anymore and you can trust me because i was born here and have never left the country in my whole life!

  • @oteplyakov nobody speaks like a brit down here mate thank god

  • @oteplyakov I don't think anyone speaks with a British accent here..

  • This is why americans think we all talk like this nobody says this shit! but funny as fuck hahaha

  • @paul00783 BRISBANE!!!WOOOP!

  • Lol I always call my Aussie friends kangaroos...it pisses em off. Hahaha!

  • I'm a born and bred Australian and this had me laughing my guts out. A word to those from outside Aust, a few of these terms aren't heard much anymore but they're still funny....can't remember the last time I or anyone else here said 'g'day' lol.

  • I'm from America and I think aussie's have the most sexiest accent ever! :) I wish I could master the accent. I sound so weird attempting it, but I'll keep practicing! :)

  • @Catty235 keep practicing mate! us aussies are a forgiving bunch. so we won't mind if you mess it up a bit. you'll get the hang of it after a while, fair dinkum :)

  • aww. the australian accent is the most beautiful "language" in the world. i love it. I wish I spoke australian <3

  • I have never said rack off mate or fair dinkum in my life.

  • Good On Ya Mate ;)

  • Liked the video mate. Sort of the phrases are a bit old yeh know? Anyway have a smasha with your mates, catchya.

  • honestly mate, over half of those phrases you ve just said, most aussies never say, its more like sayings you ve got between good mates. I reckon youve probably just confused the shit out of any foreigner watching this video, but fair effort. Just a little too stereotypical

  • The guy "speaking" Aussie: was he getting progressively drunker between takes? I'm not sure he was even saying actual words by the end.

  • hahahaha fuck me, i use these words everyday...Get a dog up ya!

  • LOL ITS FUNNY! Coz Most Aussies say "Mate".... I just say "Dude"

Im an Aussie Teen Girl :)

  • dude ur hot

  • " flat out like a lizard drinking" and "About as flash as a rat with a gold tooth"

  • theocaznbabe18- actually not all aussies support that aussie aussie aussie shout for frankly and honestly it isnt a chant we created ourselves its a stolen rendition of the Welsh's Oggy!Oggy!Oggy!, and usually points out the bogan mongrels of our nation unfortunately.

  • why do u guys say aussie! aussie! aussie! oi! oi! oi! lol does that actually mean anything??

  • @theocaznbabe18 G'day! It's basically just a call sign to promote Australia. We shout it at large events to find out where all the aussies are. We love our country. We spell it "aussie" but we pronounce it "auzzie". Cheers mate!

  • @theocaznbabe18 its a chant for Aussie Pride mate.

  • @theocaznbabe18 LOL Thats funny coz I am Australian, and my mum hates it when people say, "Aussie aussie aussie, oi oi oi". Probably because it sounds weird to be an Australian Chant.

    hehe ILY Australia :)

  • that was pretty funny guys lol i am like obsessed with australia! i seriously wanna travel there soon and just drink in the coulture.........plus a hot guy with an aussie accent is to die for! lol well not literally lol

  • @theocaznbabe18 trust me they are men juss like the rest of the world....the accent just gives them a plus...but then you get imuned to it...lol

  • LOL Hahahaahaha LmAO

  • that was great! well done!

  • i use quite a lot of aussie slang. is it me but i just feel embarrased for those australian who are talking like gangster, i just feel that they're not pround of australia. cause i am pround to be australian

  • ahahahha nice one mate

  • Well done boys,ya'should make a CD...

  • @Wallabytrack ohh, that's a ripper! loved it ! good on ya mate ;D

  • AUSSIE!! AUSSIE!! AUSSIE!! Oi!! Oi!! Oi!! ;)

  • Wow thats really Australian. Pretty kool video.

  • lol onya boys, i did have a good laugh at that

  • Why the hell would you want to learn it? I've been trying to unlearn it for years.

And I don't personally know any Australian who uses the words "cobber", "little ripper" or "crikey". That's just embarrassing.

  • @kadoelen2006 what's the weather like on your planet pal?

  • you guys must be from the outback, cause nobody ever says "you little ripper" or 'crikey' or 'hooru' or pretty much anything in this video.

We have a strong surf culture language such as

"frothin'- which means you really like something (i.e I'm frothin over that car"

" spewin" - which means you'll be really disapointed/annoyed/sad (i.e you'll be spewin when you get kicked out)

and we say mate to anyone anytime and abbreviate everything. dont use stereotypical catch phrases, just be relaxed.

  • @heysteph99 its a joke.. haha dont it seriously!

  • Haha! That just about sums up the whole Aussie language!

  • Please do anothe vid

  • I'm used to hearing 'Watsup cunt'.. I hate the West...

  • yes mate im proud to b aussie i always use these phrases ur sister in U.S.of.A will get along just fine mate now im gonna rack off cya

  • @pheonixbro191 Cheers mate!

  • i thinkk its good we sound like this, we should be proud. were different from other countries

  • Ha! Regionalisms are awesome. I'm rather sorry I lost my Massachusetts, USA accent. My mom still has a hat attack when she pahks her cah in the bahn.

    The kangaroo/vegemite ending was inspired.

  • hilarious!! :D

  • very good, I love it

it is hard to read yellow color word on screen due to the white color back ground of the cloth

  • nicely done mate haha

  • aussie dont actually talk like that... just what were supposed to talk like but we dont...

  • well you dont, but i do everyday, only real australians speack the full proper accent. the only words i dont use is the dingo one

  • MOST ppl dont i mean where do u hear ppl going u little ripper they just say nice to meet u and who says bloody oath they just say shutup

  • seriously some people say mate and maybe gday but not anything else... ppl do say bobs ur anckle or something but i only know 1 person that does

  • people in the country seem to use the words more i think

  • @chrystalrox4eva i say fair dinkem mate.

  • haha good job guys I love the ending!

  • you make us sound like we are all drongo"s mate, do we really sound like that? good heavens.lucklylly there are some posh tarts about, like me is a.ohh you have to say a after every sentance.

  • haha my friend teached me a little and i couldnt resist to learn more mate this is hectric!! haha :)

  • Being Australian also entitles that your a legendary god haha =]

  • You're gonna do what? Hump a kangaroo??? Hahahahahahaha. WoOoOoOoOoOoOo

  • too funny lol

  • LOL that was great mate!!

  • LOL

  • lmfao

  • LMAO !!!

  • wtf im Australian and I don't use hardly nothing of whqat those guys just said !

  • But it was funny

  • hahah aussie aussie aussie not Azzie

  • haha great job

  • Im going down to the corner shop, anyone else wanna hop on my kangaroo

  • "You may be correct in your assertion, but shut up" - Classic!

  • I love this accent. I wish I could make someone talk to me like that all day lol.

  • I guess I'll have to watch this again ;-)

  • lol it rocks

  • I am still blown away at the way the language is so different.

    Good video.

  • God damn it isnt that just the BEST anthem you have ever heard!!

    WOOO AZZIE AZZIE AZZIE

    OI OI OI

  • YEP!

  • @Randomeshows Search for "we are Australian" its better

  • Awesome video, guys. xD

  • Sweet!

  • Store? Lol mate we use the word shop here.

  • haha lol its bloody halarious when an aussie takes the piss of stereotyping aussies. but when others do it its just annoying

  • i pretty much use these fraises every day of the week, proud to be an aussie!

and its pronounced au zz ie not o ssss e!

  • champion comment mate!

Glad to hear everyone's enjoying the video!

    Cheers!

  • nice

  • Ha! How aussie was that!

aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi! =D

  • i dont say most of these sayings and im born and bred austraian

these are more 'true blue' ozzie sayings

  • That's hilarious. I'm an American living in Australia and it really seems like a foreign language to me.

  • I like that version of our national anthem :)

  • I love the music in the beginning.

  • They should have used the Adam Hills "working class anthem" instead, our "traditional" anthem stinks

  • love the wink, its brilliant.

  • The guy with the "jumper" has a really cool accent! I've been trying to learn the aussie accents as I'll be in Melbourne at the end of next month. Just wanna be prepared! could you guys make more videos about a guide to pronounce certain words? like how u pronounce the "o" or the "i" I'd really be appreciated it!

    TAAAAAAAA!! :-)

  • that ocker was great - accent correct and want more, what about "haven't got a brass razoo or he's a bludger etc"

  • we have our own language?? shit I thought we spoke english

  • @robboz71 ohhh no....you do speak english but once in a while I have to nudge the aussie bloke I married and say hun wtf does that mean??? lol no shit.

  • @robboz71 very true.

  • That's just stereotyping a country

  • grow a sac ya poof!

  • that comment was for - ChrisNicolaou123... i find what u have said to be quite offensive. You need to lighten up a bit aye. Stop being a toss.

  • wow if u find that offensive maybe ur the one that should grow some balls, I hae lived in australia all my life and get sick and tired of people stereotype us, when its all bullshit, it gets very monotonous....

Oh and with ur 'sac' comment, Grow the fuck up, and think of a real comeback...

  • I love your accent

  • hahaha that was good but i only say a few of thoes ive only heard a few people actually say crickey (R.I.P. Steve)

  • wat does fair dinkin mate mean?

  • fair dinkum means you are telling the truth

  • my dog attacked this kangaroo and well... the dog bloody regretted it

  • haha. yeah SOME kangaroos are nice, but then some kick my little brother in the face and run away.....man I wish I got that on tape!

  • You beauty! Great video. However we only ride Kangaroos in the annual Stawell Gift. Sheesh. lol.

  • Kangaroos > Every boxer on Earth.

  • That was a good video apart from the kangaroo to the market thing, we dont do that.

And I like the way you actually say Australia..

    Most americans say AUStralia.

    We say Astralia..

But the one line barely anyone says is as dead as a dingos donga, in the desert..

i think thats what you said.

    yeah.

    thanks.

  • noooooooooooooooooooooooo shit. did it occur to you he was taking the piss?

  • we dont sa mate after evry sentice u

  • That was awesome.

  • Don't mess with kangaroos, they'll box the shit outta ya. They get ya in a headlock a f'n give it to ya. But we get em' back, we hit em' with our cars and trucks at night like silent mental ninjas.

  • lmao ;)

  • don't tell them you're from texas... even if you actually are.....

  • haha thats funny as =) but i dont know many people at all that talk like that in australia even though ive lived down under all me life lol.

    This is funny:

    Slang: Rack off

Translation: Your presence is no longer needed.

    woo hoo aussie rulez xx

  • hahahaha the last one was funny as. i wish all aussies talked like that all the time

  • Very, good, guys!! Good on y'all (or should that be good on youse?!)... LOL ;)

  • so funny!!!! I love it. . This has definitely taught me a ton about Australian slang, and transportation. I'm looking forward to riding a kangaroo to the market when I'm in Australia this summer. lol haha

    love it!

  • Hey sorry..

we dont ride kangaroos to the market..

    ever.

if you come to australia, you'll know..

touch a kangaroo.. it'll hurt you badly.

  • speak for yourself. I ride my kangaroo everywhere.

  • Then you obviously aren't Australian..

    YOU CANT RIDE A KANGAROO.

    It. Will. Hurt. You.

And plus, if you were to actually ride a kangaroo, im sure the RSPCA will give you a slap on the wrist, maybe more.

  • I'm quite fed up with you vilifying our national animal. You portray kangaroos as being violent and unpredictable animals, when they're nothing but sweet-hearted, demure angels. I ought to set a kangaroo loose in your bedroom as you sleep, that'd show you...

...show you what wonderful, calm animals they are. He wouldn't hurt you; he'd tuck you in nice and tight, give you a soft kiss on the forehead, and leave your house, softly closing the door behind him.

  • ahahaha so do i so do i

  • sorry i meant australian accent not ausralian sorry!

  • omg this video is so funny :) I so wish I could do the ausralian accent but i cant :( guess i'll just have to stick with my english one.

  • Bahahahahahha

    Thats an absolute cracker..

    Nearly pissed my pants.

    Sarcastic bastards Lol

    Love our Country.

    xx

  • Love it!

  • hahaha. anyone notice the "screamer"-like.. umm, well, scream at 1:35-1:36 Weird. XD

  • yeah i thought i was crazy glad someone else could hear it, there's heaps of voice sounds in the background 1-17 1-18

  • Its been a while since I've laughed so much. The lad saying the slang was absolutely hilarious! I think the "Rack off, mate!" execution was my favorite. <3

  • it is awesome

i like australian accent and ialwyas hear like this difficult accent

    thanks MAAAAAAAAAte

  • more of the people living in ur urban areas speak lik this, cuz me living in sydney, not many people speak lik this D:
