Can someone please translate? I only know basic German, I can pick up a little of what Gerhard Schmidt-Gaden says at the beginning but that's it! The rest of the time I'm not sure what they are talking about!
In the end 04:16+ Historical Saturday September 16, 2006:
The boys' choir Tölzer Knabenchor performing for the Pope at the Munich airport. The choir is wonderful, of course, but the funny part comes as the director rather desperately searches his jacket for the CD...
In 3:12+ speaks the likeable genius Frederic Jost (b. 22 June 1993)
Somit herzliche Glückwünsche nachträglich zu Deinem 16. Geburtstag, Frederic...:)
Vielleicht kann ja jemand kommentieren, was Du inzwischen so machst ?
nice documentary - but i can't believe, that they sing 250 performances every year - if you look at the actually performance calender at their homepage you just find less than 40 within 9 month inclunding the opera productions!!! if it is true - why are they writing just such a smal part of their performances in their calender?
Compared with the website of my favorite Vienna Boys´Choir (!) the representativs of the Tölzer keep their website rather laxly. So for example there is missing a link to the planned tour to South Korea in spring. The 250 performances have their explanation because
the Tölzer also have many performances on stage of opera houses ! The Tölzer also often are going to rescue if anywhere in the world is a problem to cast a child´s part with a soloist...:)
okay - than their website is realy not much up to date - look at the calender! their are just less then 40 performances from january untill september INCLUDING all the opera productions! you can only find 21 performances of the choir there! and the plan should be up to date, because it was made in the beginning of january. strange thing!

Sehe jetzt Dein neues "Logo", "Geschichtsgenie". ....
Somit ist mir klar, weshalb Dein Channel in
Deutschland nicht aufrufbar ist.
Du solltest Dir für Kommentare zu Deinen
Tölzern bzw. meinen Videos somit bittte umgehend einen eigenen aufrufbaren account auf YT zulegen... Dafür gebe ich Dir
zwei Tage Zeit.

Kind regards from Malta to Sachsens Kulturstadt,
