Look up islands that had churches, schools, villages on them buried by rising sea levels in the equator, the thickest part of the Earth, since its not shaped in a circle, its widest where force pushes the middle outward. Of course, the equator gets affected, first. Next, its Northern and Southern coasts that will be buried.
