I've been doing this for about a week now every other day when I get time and it works great, I do about 20 reps of each exercise with the dumbbell about 3 times.
@AlexCoC3 That is a lot of weight to do wrist curls with ...maybe you just need to eat some more protein or something they're pretty tiny man your shoulders and chest need a little work too. Keep working hard don't give up!
@jthomase88 you probably dont understand that im not a bodybuilder. I want speed and power for fighting and baseball. My chest lol its in 2010... I benched 335 easy last week. When i say easy it was lol.. shoulder.. lateral raise with 40 lbs.. no cheating I think im ok.

@IvanDaKiid Yes ... mass x acceleration = bigger impact... bigger forearms x more speed will give you more punching power than having small forearms with the same speed. Also your wrist are stronger so less movement at impact , less injuries

@josepgol There's no special protein. In my case it's just good food or isolate pure protein if I'm not at home. And Carbs to give you the energy to digest the protein. After your protein drink, eat fruits or pine apple that contain a lots of enzyme that will accelerate the digestion and the protein will get in your blood faster.
u should do this workout 2 days a week only if u don't go to the gym? , cuz i go to the gym and i know that mostly every upper body exercise uses alot the forearms if i work them out like these 2 times a week the would probably get overtrained and won't grow i think... or im not allright?, sorry for my bad english
@themrpanda1 good point there. Yes the gym works the forearms but its not enough. If you want good forearms and work all the muscles in them you need more exercises. I know what you are talking about but the burning you usually get is on the top of the forearms and the flexor muscles I guess to keep the weight straight etc.. but the rotationnal one.. no. So a bit of extra like this is always good

@themrpanda1 I would work my forearms on the day of my workout at the end of it . If you workout monday, wednesday,friday, work them on monday and friday so wednesday is a day off etc... if you want to train them only 2 days. BUT it depends on the exercise you do. Choose the day off for your forearms, on the day that its to hard to do a extra training. you understand ?

@iAREcatz Yes u can workout at 14. No problem. Make sure you do controlled reps,(like push ups for a while... then Dumbell press... and after bench press etc.. to build strong tendons at a yound age. And then work out on mass,power etc... it is very important to workout with a good form. Go slowly at the begginning, eat well and a lot.

People shouldnt overlook forearm strength it is really important in a lot of sports.. I got laughed at in the gym for doing forearm excercises :/
