SON OF A........! I just had to go through hell two days ago trying to remove those suckers from my Honda civic. I could have used this tip. Great vid as always.
That's great, I've killed so much time fighting with those dang hangers that I've made a habit of just cutting and replacing them. That tool would pay for it's self in just a few uses.
@videoeer FYI: By 787B on Amazon "...What they don't tell you is this too is also useful for *installing* the hangers. Just flip it around and put the "nose" on the back of the hanger hook and let the "fingers" pull the hanger onto the hook. In both cases, it helps to squirt a little WD-40 or equivalent into the rubber donut first. For uninstalling I just insert a small Phillips head screwdriver into the rubber donut to give me enough room to get the WD-40 nozzle into it. Works great..."
I second that all I've ever done is hit them with PB Blaster and I can easily pull them off by hand.

@jamiedodd1991 A little tip:I sprayed silicon spray on the pin part of the pliers so i could pull it out of the rubber easier and it helped.

Great tip! As always, great video!! Thanks for showing us how...
Just bought a couple of Lisle tools for rear brake drum R&R on my 1998 Toyota Sienna. Good quality American (!) made tools. I recommend them, too.
Did you make a video on the exhaust tube R&R you were working in this video? Would love to see it...

@videoeer A little silicone spray on the rubber and she will slip right on.
