I agree, the more people we can get out there voicing for the dogs the better. 6 million cats and dogs are put down every year and most in kennels are there because the owners dont like there non domesticated side. People dont know how to approach and handle dogs either. Even vets! I took my dog to the vet and the lady got down right in his face with hers and the look in his eyes was- he was going to bite her. He was scared, she was forcing her face on him.

I can tell you guys from personal experience that Brandon Fouche is the real deal. He taught us how to control our very behaviorally challenged adopted Pit Bull, which made it possible for us to later adopt another Pit Bull into our family. We now have 2 females in the house, living harmoniously because of what we learned from Brandon.

He's an incredibly skilled behaviorist, who has many, many years experience dealing with aggressive dogs of all breeds.

What? Is there some kind of law that only one man in the world is able to work with dogs? Cesar is a great guy, but he's only one guy. He can't save all of the dogs in the world single handed. This guy may not be as famous, or maybe not as good, but he is basically preaching the same thing. Thing is, he's saving dogs that would otherwise have no chance.

Just because this man is not cesar millan doesnt mean he isnt able to rehabilitate dogs, or that he is an idiot. I have only heard of cesar before i saw this, and religiously followed his dog psychology, but this guy seems just as capable to help dogs. Cesar may have be the best, but that doesnt mean he is the only one that can learn and follow dog psychology.

I'm so tired of reading comments where everyone is just hating, and labelling others 'idiot' without close to a valid reason. What this man says is practically the same a Caesar says. That dogs remain the same throughout time - and wolves are one origin of dogs. They are still flock animals that has a leader, and they crave that. The leader uses aggression as a dominance tool and aggression is a tool to achieve the leader roll.

the next cesar millan has to be Kevin Salem. Just type in Kevin dog trainer on you tube and watch. This guy combines training AND dog psychology. I honestly think he is better than Cesar, but everyone will have their favorite. But they are both very similar. Even Kevin's book is a lot written like Mr. Millan's.

To alot of people Cesar is pretty controversial. He doesn't have any formal training evidently, uses many older techniques, focuses on dominance patterns too much and some think he gives some pretty bad advice too. There are TONs of people out there doing better than he is, but they aren't on TV.

Cesar never said he had any formal training. Read his 1st book. He just has a way with dogs. It might not work with all ppl but it works with a lot of them. There are a ton of different dog training methods & no one dogman agrees with the other. All he does is shush or correct the dog. He put them on their sides if they have overstepped their bounds. He always recommends long walks or runs. I fail to see how that would be bad for a dog.

On the dominance thing, look at wild animals. They keep everybody in check through contact. The last time I looked at a dog they were animals not humans. They do not think like us, so we must communicate with them the way mother nature intend it. All Cesar is doing is following nature. Why are we going to change a language that has work for thousands of years. Tell me when did it changed and who changed mother nature. The reason he is controversial is called jealousy.

I happen to know Brandon quite well, and he's AMAZING with dogs. He specializes in highly aggressive dogs, both towards humans and other animals. The dog in this video (Petey) was going to be euthanized because of his aggression. Make no mistake about it - To have a dog like Petey acting submissively in a television studio environment is a VERY big deal.

Brandon has saved many, many lives in his more than 20 years of working with aggressive dogs, including that of my own dog.

the dog was just sitting there. He was probably a little antsy (he is an animal, not a machine after all). And licking is submission. The dog wasn't doing anything wrong. He was just being a dog. You can't expect dogs to always act like soldiers. And theres no need to compare him to Cesar. I'm sure Cesar would agree with everything this guy does as well. They're on the same frequency. Theres no need to say that one is better than the other. They both help dogs.
