The one thing that I absolutely loved about all those old Limbos and 23rd Precinct records was the tonal quality. They all had such a rich and deep sound to them. The kicks boomed and rumbled, mids clear, and highs so tastefully crisp. Yeah, not every single release was musically good, but they definitely made their share of timeless gems. :)
