@PzVIE43 Ohh, sorry, I watched the dubbed version in which I don't remember any Bertrave place, but now I think I know what scene you mentioned before. It's taken place at somewhere at the end of the second anime series (ep19?), when they are heading to this former russian city of one of the kurill islands. Ishikawa is hospitalized at the end maybe.

Wow if this anime come to my mind I still get shaking, it is so realistic, haha!

Last night's anime night on [AS] was kickin' at least for an hour. That ep of cowboy bebop and this made for some great, epic moments in anime for myself. I've seen Endless Gig 3 or 4 times, but it never gets old to me.

The one song that was never brought out from the 2nd gig (I still can't find it, not on smooth in the shell or any OST) is from episode 13 "Make up" at the end during the fight between Pazu and his former lover. That piece was some beautiful guitar playing.

Lux Aeterna all the way. Also there is a theme in that episode that starts like Imperial March. It is not plagiarism, but rather nice allusions to the renown epics. Also I never seen Requiem for the Dream, which makes things quite amusing, as Lux Aeterna suits well into all kinds of epic scenes (a film covering the topic of drug addiction is just not epic enough, yet...).

Most of the music that isn't on the other OSTs (including this song) is on an album called "Smooth in the Shell"

They all are a single track that plays for an hour and some odd minutes.

This song, or segment at least, was composed with the song: "requiem for a dream" in mind..or at least inspiration was pulled.

Proof? Not hard, listen to the rhythm.There are other evident sources as well.

Although similar, it is not the same song, so please dont argue, or speculate on a beautifully orchestrated piece.

Yeah I noticed the similarities right away when I first heard it during Second Gig.

It is indeed pulled from the "smooth in the shell" disc which I bought in that uber huge set from Japan, I just edited it down to this singular piece because I'm so fond of it and wanted to share.

Well this concludes and verifies it is from the "smooth in the shell" OST.

Again, i too am fond of this song, its diversity, beat and sheer brilliance..Its not something you hear often, even if it is a spin off of another song, but even the original song is good so no wonder..

If this is ever dubbed a "remix" of "Requiem for a dream" then it will be at the top in no time..

Some clarification on the song in this video...

Title: Untitled, it was not named because it did not get one, formerly on the OST.

Location: it is infact on the OST disk 4, titled "smooth in the shell", however the segment that contains this instrumental song, is partly NAMED "smooth in the shell"..Technically it is a part of the whole, "loop" OST.

They did this, because the song was not "commercial"...or not enough so.

Further more, its not impossible to find, look it up.
