  • Desiree Rogers shares accountability in the security breach because she failed to either oversee the event herself, in conjunction with the secret service. Since Desiree obviously couldn't bring herself to actually work ... to forgo a good time that preceding social secretary have not had the privilege of attending, it was crucial that staff was positioned at east entrance to compare and check off names of guests, reconcile invitations with verifying identification, etc.

  • what a heaping load of bullshit. I'm so fucking sick of it.

  • The audience for these show and by extension all of us are paying for 7 talking heads. The cost is buried in the cost of advertising on these shows. Advertisers, please send 6 of them packing and cut your prices.

  • Chuck Todd longed to be the next Tim Russert-- yet morphed into pygmy Glenn Beck. Making him a Morning Joke fixture.

  • The giggle Gaggle, I guess.

What were they laughing about in the beginning of the clip?

  • so now it's obama's fault that some nut jobs managed to make their way into the white house!!! what's wrong with these right wing crazies?? soon it'll be Obama's fault that the spring in dc didn't come in time, anything to demonize the president.

  • i can't stand chuck todd anymore. he's nothing but a talking point parrot.

  • idiot convention. do people really watch this crap?

  • Why did the Secret Service allow the breach of the White House?

It is the Secret Service job to KEEP PEOPLE OUT of the White House!

It is the Social Secretary job to INVITE PEOPLE INTO the White House, but ONLY IF Secret Service OK the person!

Social Secretary DID NOT INVITE and WAS NOT at gate to invite!

The question then arises, WHY DID SECRET SERVICE ALLOWED THE BREACH of the White House?

  • These giggling idiots MUST know all the details of this and the Tiger Woods story, but watch 'em when Cheney is shoveling his book down our throats. Their "Quest For The Truth" will shrivel like George Constanza's package in liquid nitrogen.

  • This is still a story?

  • It is starting to look like the Secret Service is actively trying to kill this president.

How many times have they let people bring high powered rifles to presidential appearances?

Just show up to the White House in a tuxedo, and you get to meet the president.

What next? Is the Secret Service going to give him a behind the scenes tour of a live firing range?

  • When will Chuck Todd learn that a gross goatee is no substitute for proper exercise.

  • morning jo(k)e blows

  • Morning Joe is so amazingly smug! I can hardly stand them.

  • Scarborough is an asshole.

  • Todd's right. The other reason this story still has leg's is the press is jealous they weren't invited to the dinner and the Rethuglicans as usual are using any avenue of attack to get to hurt the President.

You have to see the Press Corp attack Gibbs about this. I was waiting for the Access Hollywood reporter to pop up and ask a question about Jon & Kate Plus 8. That's how bad it's gotten.

Huge media fail with lots of other important matters going on.

  • I'm glad to see that the role of the media and it's interests is no longer invisible to as many people. If there is something these people do well, it is defend their own professional interests, as well as those of their parent companies.
