I have competed in this sport for many years and i still think its sick that a parent/coach gets so excited and cocky when their 11 year old (or under) kid makes another kid cry or knocks them out. They claim they're so awesome. arrogant pricks

@aksn00bim geez did i say i'm gonna ban it? i just think it's brutal for kids that age, it's an opinion, i'm not gonna make a case out of it... also, it's not always possible to block a kick that's going for the head, specially not for the young kids cause their focus goes to what they're doing at the moment, so if the kid would be concentrating on getting a kick in herself, she won't focus on what's coming to her head.

@shauniiixx And there you go, the brunnete had the training, thus a better kick, therefore a clean hit. Its not brutal for kids that age, its brutal for anyone at any age; a KO is KO. And no, the mistake of lowering the gaurd is done by kids and adults alike; and keeping a good guard can be done by kids and adults alike too; matter of TRAINING and at the kid's age responsibility of the trainer.
