It's about a man who tried to kill himself and then changed his mind when they cut him open.

Well the song is pretty literal. This guy was abducted by aliens, and can't get the experience out of his head. The aliens say the Nile used to run from East to West, a long time ago. No one knows about it because it wasn't televised. And the spaceman says the experience is in his head and their aren't aliens. Well, that's what I think..

I guess the people in the video are aliens, or what's in his mind.

Judging by the look on Brandons face around 1:55, even he knew how totally goofy he looks....Great song...weird video but nothing out of the norm for The Killers.
