The empire are Thalmor puppets. The stormcloaks have reason to fight, but they've been doing the same thing to the forsworn, and barely tolerate non-nords.

I like the Jarl of Whiterun. He's the good guy. Defend whiterun from stormcloaks, but still wipe out the empire when I see them imprisoning someone for talos worship.

Free the Forsworn, and kill the corrupt rulers of markarth.

Slaughter the Thalmor.

& Dont kill Paarthurnax.
