  • awww lovely! i love how the theme tujne has changed over the years :-)

  • FABULOUS thanks for this video Peter0010~it brings back many memories Great to see the famous kitties and pigeons too xxxxxx

  • The attraction of Coronation Street when it started was that it brilliantly described an era then gone. When it became "modern" I stopped watching it.

  • whenever I see that tram go by Im always reminded of the crash

  • hi in the 2008/2009 version we see rows of houses if you compare this to google earth you can see that there is actually a car park there and this is just CGI

but my question is what about the tram line you see next to the rovers in one shot and and no tram line in another shot, it looks like the tram at the end of the road would be driving behind the rovers but thats not possible as we can see clearly there isnt any tram line in the over head shot?

    any one

is it just me on this

  • I think coronation street will still be on after most of us now on youtube have long gone.

  • That poor train, Coronation street will never be the same!

    i prefer 1999 version

  • 1986-1993 credits were a bit rubbish. They must have been going through their free style period lol. Oh! I had forgotten the dog in the 93-99!

  • where's 2010 version

  • @SquadalaFilms the video was made in 2009...

  • Prefer these titles,

  • I love coronation street I have only seen the last one good times xxxxxx

  • 75 - 84 colour looks bad

  • Its very interesting seeing all the titles like that through the years.. It's strange though that from 1999 to 2002 it changed several times what with widescreen coming in etc but from 2002 til now its remained unchanged - I think after 8 years a few updated shots would go down well, (as it would with Emmerdale lol). I also think the title looked better at the end of the music rather than the start, I never understood that decision.

  • Ah i remember watching this show. I live in the us where they dont broadcast this show. But it's interesting because i live very close to the canadian border, so our tv antenna can pick up the canadian channels so we watch this show all the time.

  • @kylebarks123456789

i am afraid you had to, thats all there was.

  • @howlingwalnut i supose so lol they were probz to that in the days now we so to colour that we dont take it for granted that we got it and they had black and white in the days

  • The Vid's fab.

What video conversion software did you use?

  • I used media converter . org (type that into google) but when i converted the vids it was unlimited conversions, now it's only 5 a day.

  • The opening credits listed for 1986 - 1993 are inncorrect, this set was only used on 1 single episode, the one where the Rovers is on fire, it was not used at any other time andmost definately not for 7 years!

  • Well the site where I downloaded the videos said that was when it was broadcast, I just went by what they told me.

  • The ones you list as 84-86 were used for ALOT longer - probabibly 84 - 91 - the ones listed as 86-93 were used once, and that was for the episode where the Rovers burnt down

  • I have to agree I never really watched this show my parents did but I don't remember this opening I do remember the one from 84 - 86 and am sure it screen longer than this. Of course I am in NZ and the show has always been behind the UK.
