@diego55231 you should try to install new drivers for your graphics card, and also ajust your settings in FSX.... uncheck bloom, set water to low2x, and change your target frame rate to unlimited.
Actually from virtual cockpit, that actually does not exist. Just change to virtual cockpit and from there hold CTRL + Enter, then set to the position you want.
Yes it would help a lot. FSX uses more than 1gb ran. Also make sure you have the right settings for 8600GT... you should customize fsx scenery settings to ultra high, except water that should be no higher than (low.2x). Aicraft to medium High, also disable Bloom on graphics. Traffic can be on ultra high.. don't use max settings on anything. Flight traffic should be not higher than 50%. Road vehicles not higher than 30%. Remember to Install FSX Service Pack 1. I hope this helps. Regards!
oo. i always thought u had to download an aircraft .cfg file or edit it to get the wingviews. Thnx. btw wut airline is that and where did u download it from?
Yes... will run very good.. but fsx runs better on Dual cores or Core 2 Duos. A Pentium Dual Core E5200 that runs at 2.5ghz is much faster than a P4 @ 3.4, and costs only $75 dollars.
There's no way that a 1.6GHZ dual core can pull that much frame rates with that much scenery and traffic. Hell, I've got better computer and cant pull that off! How do you do it.
Have you installed FSX service pack 1? Also disable bloom, some other things like water and traffic have major impact on the performance. I set airtraffic to 50%, car to 30%, Water low2x, all the rest ultra high or a little over. Remember Disable Bloom. Graphics card on this game is also important. Many people think this game is only CPU bound, but it's not true. Most Dual core usually handle this game well. Get good GPU geforce 7 or 8 series. FSX is buggy with some drivers.
Well I've heard somewhere that quad cores are not as FPS friendly to FSX. It's a Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 GHZ. And I thought having cars and AI traffic tones it down too.
yeah. I also heard that... i read on a blog that usually Intel Conroes are good processors for FSX. By the way my frame rate in Los Angles is usually 16-27 on air, and 12-24 on ground. So it's not that much good. Can reach 60fps in some low density areas.
