i live in canada and i just turned 16 yesterday. the rules say you have to be at least 18 and a resident of US, but i dont give a damn, i entered anyways. it has been my absolute dream to be able to fly up into space ever since childhood and im not gonna let some ineligibility stop me! <3
You are so young, never give up your dream!!! do well in school & join a space program. If you believe in yourself you will fufill your dreams!!! let your h8rs motiv8 u :-)
iwould love to go but i just turned 17 so i cant :(. but i am going to tel someone i know who would love to go to space whos in there 60s,i think it would be a life changer if he wins :)
i encourage people to stop thinking JFK was into space, he really could have gave a shit about it besides beating the soviets. read about his interview with james webb who was a NASA administrator.
I am being completely serious about this. I am 17 years old and my birthday is January 2nd. THIS IS BULLSHIT. You have to be at least 18 years old to enter.
Wow. Way to completely ignore the history of ALL nations' efforts in space exploration!
aka: 1961 - Earth Orbit, 1971 - Space Station; both done by the Soviet Union two years before the US. Along with *ZERO* photos/video of Soviet/Russian achievements.
I know the US program is a lot more photogenic, so I can understand using US-only photos/video, but you should at least ACKNOWLEDGE that the US wasn't the first at everything...
@ehurtley I don't believe you got the point of the video at all. The video is about mankind's history in space. Of course US references would be used because, like you said, USSR didn't have a lot of documentation.
However, if you look back into history of space exploration, the US has contributed the most.
