  • jappofags!!!

  • Sounds kinda Japanese.

  • less reverb!!!!!!!!!

  • Sweet Ann sound wonderous singing this! :D

The only problem is that I'm having a bit of difficultly understanding words she's singing. =/

  • Omg, you deserve ALL THE INTERNETS~ This is so beautiful and natural~

  • @MiyariShirou Do you honestly believe this sounds natural? vocaloids certainly are a big advancement in technology and can be very useful for backing vocals but they cant even compare to a crappy voice from a real person autotuned and corrected.

  • Amazing! Its seeming more and more likely the most amazing songs sung by singers will be vocaloids! Future is bright indeed!

  • Why is it so expensive. D:

  • A lot of people commented about which Vocaloid came first Bla Bla Bla. Actually the first jap Vocaloids were kaito and Meiko.

  • 24 people walk alone

  • my favorite song from green day + Vocaloid = me screaming due to over-happiness.. :D

  • Aaaaaaahhh!!!!

Osea que gracias al programa de vocaloid haces las canciones de las voces de ellos

entonces asi fue como crearon tal vez las de: Song of the great satan o.....Bueno si es que asi la hisieron....orale GENIAL!!!

  • Len sounds like Len. Sweet Ann sounds like Sweet Ann! Enough said! =D

  • this is awesome!!

  • very good <3 i love green day :D

  • I wachalona

  • why SHE sounds like HE?

  • She's gonna be my favorite english vocaloid with Big Al! >8D

  • You know, sweet ann actually turned extremely well for a vocaloid program at all, ESPECIALLY since its english and one of the first gen ones.

I wish they would make another english vocaloid program cuz it would probably sound even better and that way i would actually buy it cuz I don't know how to read japanese and use any japanese vocaloid programs. D:

  • @metaknightmare1234 >u> Sweet Ann isn't first gen. She's a Vocaloid2.

    Miriam is a first Gen though xDD;

ouo As for the english; there's SONiKA, Big Al, Miriam, Lola, Leon, Luka (She's in english AND japanese :'D) and. . . I think that-- Tonio and Prima. xD Now it's all, I think.

But yeah. They have english programs xDD And if you get luka, you can make her sing japanese songs too! c:

  • @ProgHead93 have you heard VOCALOID 3 yet? Honey, they've already reached the human stage!

  • @wannabejapanesechica In my opinion, they have room to go still... I've worked with 4 Vocaloids, I still hear the same old missing elements I've always heard. Yamaha has to find a way to make certain tones appear in the voicebanks before they reach human level.

  • wow.... when my parents heard this, they thought it was a bit real. i told them its not and it was Vocaloid.

    Then my father suddenly said:

Let's get you a Vocaloid!! Pick one!

My sister picked Sweet Ann xD

But I bought Kaito... I just can't get over him... But this is the best Sweet Ann I've ever heard!

  • @bluedyed2black Your dad is so cool TT^TT

  • @Koramaru

My mom says that I got my anime obsession from my dad... Yeah... >> only my dad understands anime like me...

  • @bluedyed2black Nice to hear that, makes me glad that my video contributed on that, hope you have fun with your new vocaloid!

  • @migge65 oh yes, yes I did xD

  • @bluedyed2black WHY CAN'T I HAVE PARENTS LIKE THAT!?

  • @bluedyed2black how much are they and are they only in japanese instructions and functions?

  • @Animedoll16

some Vocaloids are in english. search it in wiki: 'vocaloid products'. since i can't type the link :3

  • @bluedyed2black nice chooice in vocaloids! ROCK ON KAITO!!!!

  • Sounds like she's singing under the shower! There's a lot of echo when you sing under the shower....but she's a really good shower-singer...

  • @zyko97 you think u can do better

  • It's echoey, but it sounds good with the song like that xD

  • i swear... my only complaint is that she's sometimes too quiet to hear. what i do hear, i understand and think it sounds fantastic

  • shes awsome!!!!

  • Ohh... So that's sweet Ann... I thought a male vocaloid was singing. She sounds like a dude here. This is the first time i've heard her tho...

But I could actually understand her unlike the other english songs sung by other vocaloids...I thought they went Japanese after the first two lines or so.

  • Its better than the original Xp

  • I don't really like english vocaloids but this one was done very good.

  • i can't hear Ann! is she in an echoey gym? cuz that's what thsi sounds like.

  • THIS IS WIN. She sounds pretty :3

  • dube plase try a little lower the sound of intro to have better lyric try reduce bass a little the echo is ok to hide the bad prounounce but its good

  • It ruined it D:!

  • VOCALOIDS ARE SO CUTE! & Sweet Ann singing this song actually hits the spot^_^! Now I'm wondering if I should buy this system.

  • can i have the link to the ust please???

  • this is amasing and very beautiful! well done! must have taken you ages!

  • kinda sounds like katio O_o

  • for what is the vocaloid vsti???? it has no editor??

  • needs to be louder i like it alot try it without the echo too great job!

  • sounds like len lol

  • @ChiinkTheGM

maybe you should clean your ears, cause it doesnt at all. len has a sharp brassy after sound in his voice

  • @mokana713 no need to be mean just sayin o.o

  • @ChiinkTheGM

    oh sorry-

im just sick of every time a vocaloid gets released you get a "they sound like----" comment EVERYWHERE... and im sorry

  • @mokana713 well it was a good compliment cause i have nothing against any of them or u its just somtimes people miss hear and think "oh is that____?" or "did her just say___?" but yeah appoligy axcepted >o<

  • @ChiinkTheGM

*hugs* i love you. i should have never said what i did... i think im bipolar btw >,>

  • @mokana713 lol nah bro ish okie ^^~ (how do u feel Bipolar? o.0?)

  • @ChiinkTheGM

no, i think i am- people point out my rapid mood swings- ive never noticed em till now

  • @mokana713 lol weird but its all k now we kewl? owo

  • @ChiinkTheGM

    kewl as a potato! *hugs*

  • @ChiinkTheGM Impossible, she can't sound like Len, Len can only sound like her since she came out first...

  • @AngelEmfrbl but it sounds too odd to comment "Len sounds like her" But you're wrong, if Len sounds like Ann, Ann also sounds like Len. u.u

  • @TorNyan

    Not really.

If Ann came before Len you can't say Ann sounds like Len due to her being before.

It's sort of like saying Miku sounds like VY1.

VY1 sounds like Miku not the other way around.

  • @starfishnight YES. It's like saying Miku sounds like VY1 ON A VY1 VIDEO. If you haven't heard VY1 before. And that's not incorrect.

  • @AngelEmfrbl

WOAH WOAH WOAH the USA ripped off the vocaloid idea so LEN came first. And before you judged I'm american

  • @xILoveYouMostx There aren't any American VOCALOIDs. Sweet Ann is Swedish.

  • @IwaReject

Yeah there is O.o my cousin has one. I have Miku Append

  • @xILoveYouMostx You can BUY them in America, but there are none that are voiced by Americans.

  • @IwaReject Big al was voiced by an American, Frank Sanderson is American.

  • @AngelEmfrbl Ummm, no. Big Al is also Swedish. He was going to be voiced by an Elvis impersonator, but he didn't, and ended up being voiced by a Swedish man. If you listen closely you can detect his accent. And regarding another of your comments, just because you work for the Vocaloid wikia doesn't mean you know your Vocaloids that will. I know my Vocaloids pretty well.

  • @IwaReject Frank Sanderson is American...*sigh* Just because he was in sweden didn't mean he was't an American. You know nothing on Vocaloids if you can't get this right. In fact Oliver,PowerFX's latest Vocaloid, was voice by a british singer. A choir boy. Because they are swedish, doesn't mean they will indefinately use a swedish singer. -_-

  • @AngelEmfrbl Thank you for clarifying that. However, I do NOT appreciate you saying I know nothing about Vocaloid because of that. :I

  • @AngelEmfrbl most people don't know that so it has nothing to do with their knowledge of vocaloids who cares whether he was american or not

  • @xILoveYouMostx I work for the Vocaloid wikia, I think I know my Vocaloids pretty well, at least the date of releases... You need to go and study a bit of Vocaloid history. ¬_¬'

  • @UltraTeen93 So that's what you called with cubase! I'm new to Vocaloid2, and can't figure out about adding music...how about the sound effect on the voice? is that done by Cubase too?

  • sweet ann is actually pretty awesome she sings english better than any vocaloid ive ever heard to bad shes not that popular this song is perfect

  • yup im saying it always, some vocaloids are underrated...i mean cmon Miku,Rin,Len sounds to much robotic and alot of people love them,Sweet Ann have better voice but people dont like her because of the box art,i dont understand it D:

i mean,i love all 24 official vocaloids, they all can sounds good if they are used well

  • what software did u used? its clearly not vocaloid 2?

and how do you make the instrumental??

  • @fukunofukyou Ann's voice is made in Vocaloid2. Her vocal track was exported into whatever this program is so the creator could put music to it.

  • @fukunofukyou That's Cubase. You can make the instrumental by importing a MIDI file, you can download the midi everywhere. n_n

It get's hard when you want to make the lyrics with vocaloid cause most of MIDI's don't have the voice track included so you have to "guess" the tone of every note D:

  • I wish her voice was louder than the music itself. Because from what I hear the voice is perfect.

  • @YnangelGOTH yeah terrible mix job and also way too much vocal reverb

  • This must be better with a COMPRESSOR. because the volume of the vocaloid is so low.

  • @DarkBlueCatxVocaloid and there is way to much reverb

  • @mgsmgsmgsmgs The reverb is a minor factor. The compressor make the wave peak similar each ones :3 sound more "compact" and in every speaker must be no sound different. (well u see, my english SUCK XD)

  • it's alright

  • I've just started looking into Vocaloid, and I have to say this is the most realistic sounding one so far. All the others I've heard are rubbish.

  • @AdamCaine you were probably watching the fanmade stuff >.<

  • @AdamCaine Lol, you should hear gumi. so far her voice is pretty close. :3 She sounds like an autotuned human.

  • @metaknightmare1234

I was gonna reply to him with some tips of good vocaloid songs.

But he wrote that 9 months ago, he probably found them by now lol

  • @AdamCaine

They aren't supposed to sound real they are supposed to sound robotic.

  • OMG!!! GREEN DAY AND VOCALOID! awesome

  • You did a great job on this song! Good work! I just hope they come out with English vocaloids that don't sound quite as artificial. The Japanese vocaloids don't sound as artificial for some reason. Maybe it's just me because I can't speak Japanese. I dunno. Again, good job! :D

  • whoa her voice doesnt sound robotic?! I'm so getting sweet ann!! =3

  • @glassXmoon Considering she was the first Vocaloid 2, Ann's managed to remain as the best "all rounder" for english Vocaloids which is nice because she was the first of the Vocaloid 2 crop to be released. She has odd tiny little bits missing that other english Vocaloids that followed her had. >_<

  • wow. exceptional quality! mp3?

  • Comment removed

  • I have been looking for this song for a fucking long time

Now I have found it with Sweet Ann singing it.

    My mind is blown.

  • Can i has the VSQ for this? :D

  • ...wow... I'm officially in awe. This is the best cover by Vocaloid I've heard since Meiko's Uninstall. Sweet Ann's voice is fantastic, and the effects you made just made this all the more magical, to me. Not to mention you made her pronounce words well- an added bonus, definetely. Five stars and fave for a great job!

  • wow o.o

    *shock*

    greeaattt o.o

  • I think the voice is to quiet but besides that this is awesome!

  • How do i download this for free? ehh with the hatsune miku vocals on?

  • this voice suxXx hard cuz you raped it with too much reverb and NO dynamics.

Its an arrangement show-off but never a vocaloid one

  • LOVE IT CAUS EI LOVE SWEET ANN AND GREEN DAY!!!

  • oh god my ears...

  • It sounds really great! If you could make her voice louder it would be perfect ^^

  • woah, nice

  • What the software's name?

  • @twintowerxx He/She said something in the description about Cubase sx3

  • haha guys i managed to make NickelBacks song Burn it to the ground with her haha:)D

  • it's great but I think there should be a way to add more power to the voice... sometimes she sounds like she's being drawn to tears...

  • what do you download to get a vocaloid??:O and does it cost anything?=(

i want to try it really bady >_<

  • @watashinokokoro13

you can't download it (exept if you buy a download version)...vocaloids are very expensive, especially the new ones, but you can try utau wich is a free program similar to vocaloid

  • @theLooneyLibrarian thank yuuuuu=D

  • THAT'S how you use Sweet Ann. :3

  • Her voice is pretty awesome =D you only hear about the Japanese vocaloids (not to say that I don't love them) but the english ones are pretty damn awesome too!

  • @warXnXpeace sweet ann is an japanese vocaloid too i think

  • @dog74586 Her voice actor is Swedish and her voicebank is made to sing English songs.

  • @Dojan5 but isn't it an japanese vocaloid?

  • @dog74586 Nope.

  • @dog74586 Lola, Leon, Big Al, Miriam, Prima, Sonika, Sweet An and Tonio are all English Vocaloids

  • @ClippedA Doesn't Luka also sing in English (in addition to Japanese)

  • @EmmyBea Well....she can kinda sing in English [more like Engrish ^^"] and sometimes her English is better then that of the Engloids but she's still a Japanese vocaloid

  • Because of the name "sweet ann" i assumed this was another highpitched anime-like voice. IMHO this is the best female voice for vocaloid, even better than Prima.

  • were can i get this program

  • too bad.. she can't sing high tune...

  • I just got Vocaloid2 today and cant figure dang, Gakupo's voice out >.<

  • sounds ok, does it require to take a long time?

  • She's awfully quiet...

  • MY GOD

This actually sounds really good XD

  • i'm gonna advertise this ^^_

  • Do you have the MIDI or VSQ of this song? If so can I use it :3?

  • PLS PLS PLS

MAKE A 21 GUNS COOVER BY KAITO

im not good at english but please , i want it soo much (:

  • @McGuiver002 Omg yesh that would be hawt :3 Kaito doing 21 Guns I hope someone does <333!

  • It'd be cool if you could up the vocaloid's voice a little louder. It's kinda quiet, but otherwise great job.

  • @picoli61 they put a second track of the same voice...i think... :/

  • @picoli61 , when she doesn't prounounce a word correctly, I use the phonemes instead.

  • @migge65 So what do you do when she doesn't pronounce a word correctly

  • @markolo25 You swap Phonemes to get the closet one. Different combinations sound differently together. The easiest way, for instance "Civilisation" is to find words like "Civil", "lie", "say" and any word with "tion" and try to construct the word from those examples until it matches. Sadly, there will always be some degrees of limits within the software and unlike their Japanese cousins, English Vocaloids are not so simple. Also... You can get *some * pronounications from phonetic slicing.

  • @picoli61 , when she doesn't prounounce a word correctly, I use the phonemes instead.

  • @migge65 Tell me more about the phonemes, where and how to use it in the interface?

  • cool!! ^^

  • ON THE BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS

  • Better than the original!

  • Nope, unless you pirate it. I got mine the old fashioned way:

Pay the 200 USD to the people in tokyo, then wait a year to get shipped a program C:

  • because google is pro IT tool you can not find the answer...

  • All of you guys down below.BRITAIN,anime deprived. The US gets people in conventions,we don't even have that! And we don't have anime clubs, just chavvy stuff T_T as for it spreading, about one other person knows what it is in my school D8<

  • I'm in a middle school in Pennsylvania, and I had to give a half hour explanation to what "Vocaloid" was. Most girls in my school fangirl over crap like Twilight and live action Disney rather than vocaloids and anime. xDDD;

  • @TheNoSensei i'm at a middle school and Arizona and only two other people(I have proof) know what Vocaloid is. So I know what you mean. all the kids at my school are drooling over taylor lautner while meanwhile i'm drooling over Len Kagamine.

  • @ TheNoSensei: Anime and Vocaloid seem like huge fandoms to people who like them, but we're really in the minority. It's odd to think about.

  • @ animephoenix2468: vocaloid soft was made with purpose of easy and cheap anime songs making, no one even expected that some music soft could create regular fan base

  • @TheNoSensei i had to do that to. and they still dont get it

  • @TheNoSensei i had to do the same and of all my friends only one now knows what a vocaloid is

  • @TheNoSensei I fangirl over everything. I live in Washington, and I swear, the Twilight fans are millions times worse there. Forks has to have at least tripled in population! I like Vocaloid and Engloids waaaaay more, though XD

  • @TheNoSensei

I live in Delaware, and I swear to god only the peopel in art club know about anime and manga! I love Sweet Ann, Teto-Ted Kasane, and Rin! <33

  • they always say we are the stupid one's to admire things like this but is no diferent from than they rather see some people suck others blood than this. so which one looks stupid?

  • @TheNoSensei Your not alone, my school's just like that XD

  • @TheNoSensei same here buddy

  • @TheNoSensei i feel your pain im in a middle school in missouri. im the only girl who talks about this stuff. lol DX

  • @TheNoSensei

i'm the only one who actually likes vocaloid in school, everyone who has heard it in my class is like "ew, you like vocaloid?" "yes. i could care less if they're japanese songs or english."

  • @TheNoSensei If they knew how much hotter anime vampires are than the twilight ones are they'd change there minds >w>

  • @kuraneko35229 so true

  • @TheNoSensei

Wow. Honestly, I'd never be able to explain what Vocaloid is; it's just too hard to do without a computer.

  • Thus seperating me from the crowd... South Harrison High School...

Love the vid, too bad it wasn't clearer I would have loved it even more. 5/5
