This is a good way to experment with hair colours... To know what colour I suit and what I don't... I've learned that I suit every colour except Green, Orange and Yellow

the easier is....do the toggle quick mask tool that looks like a square in the end on the picture window then turn the forground colours from black to white to white and black and dickolour the hair from the red mask by a fuzzy brush , and if you mess up invert the forground colours again :) and colour it with the mask , then when you r done click on the tool again and there you have it automaticly selected :)

After I do the path, I left click, click colorize, and the path disappears and instead it colorizes the whole picture :(

If you mess up like lets say you accidentally got the color on the skin.

i tried the eraser, but it makes a white mark.

What I do is, before I even start, I duplicate the layer I'm working on, and work on the duplicate. (Make sure you add an alpha channel first -- Layer, Transparency, Add Alpha Channel). Then if I make a mistake, when I erase it, it should just erase to the layer beneath, not to the white.

(So if you get colour on the skin, you can erase it and there won't be white marks~)

I hope that made sense, I'm awful at explaining things like this xD;

for the eyes..all you have to do is,just get the paintbrush..lower the opacity...then pick the color you want.then re-color it...but Its my way..great vid.:)

Intelligent Scissors works for selecting the hair as well. And I never thought of coloring the eyes like that to, I just used air brush.

... Every time I make a path, it makes blinking dashed lines that cut through the icture, making parts of the skin change and parts of the hair not changing. Have any idea what I'm talking about? It's really frustrating... =/

ai first pick the path tool then trace around the hair (origion hair must be some other colour other than black**) when u get to the last one to connect, hold control button and connect the last point to the first point. after u have that all connected, u pick the **path to selection button** then go to colours and fuck around with that :)
