Just had a filght with the Cub last evening, changed the landing gear to homemade in alu andnfinally flew it on 6 cells. It's a great plane and on 6 cells it has the potential to go bananas as well as flying scale. Love it and will try to get in anflight tonight too. Check out the wingcam video if You want.
Just ordered the same cub, plan on running an eflite 46 motor on 6 cells with wingcam and tow capasity. Yours performed very well and looked gooood! How is it at performing aerobatics?
@Orjan1972 It does do aerobatics with my setup, but it flies slow and does not do unlimited vertical. However, even with low speed it does do rolls, loops, Cuban eights etc. like flying on rails. With an eflite 46 it would perform much better but it wouldn't look like scale flight anymore. Just because I like the more scale like characteristics of my set up I think I'm keeping this motor on. But, I may rethink that after flying in strong wind, which I haven't done yet with this model.
