I'm happy the monza has found a new home where its been well taken care of :) Polley4 Now owns this monza and he found it WATCHING this video. I still like telling people the story of what happened to the monza.. hehe..
Ford 9" always seems to be a strong popular choice. Tranny wise would depend on the weight of the car. Lighter The Car is the less stress on the tranny so it doesn't have to be as strong.
nice monza I got a 78' and i want to rip off the catalytic converter, and put some glassbacks on it but does anyone know what year emission test are no longer required???
u dont need 70 grand to build a prostreet maybe 20 grand or less and rc freak alot mopars would shit kick fords and chevy with out a chance it all dipends how u have ur car running but thats nice monza u should just go ape shit on the motor right now
right, i understand that not everyone can afford a mopar, but a mopar is a great investment. Every year they go up in resale value so its not like your throwing your money away.
Me and my father just built a 68 road runner with a 440 stroked to 520ci. we only have about 15000.00 in the car and its probably worth around 30 or so. we are talking about a full drag car though not a show car, even though the body is mint and looks like a show car.
Well, I own a car dealership, not a large one but about fifty cars. I would say that a chevy makes a great vehicle. I sold a 00 chevy 1500 ex cab to a man in south america that had 280,000 miles, and had the original motor and trans.
Cont-The truck is still in perfect condition and the man is very pleased with the truck. So i would say that a GM product is good, but if you want resale value you might want to go with a Dodge truck, and a toyota car.
i used to have a 75 monza 2+2 v-8 i have been kicking myself in the head for selling it, want to sell this one????or trade for 82 trans am w/350 4 bolt main/th350c ????
dowies please

This comment has received too many negative votes show
that car is a wimp, if you want a real car buy a mopar. Anyone can work at McDonalds and buy a Ford or a Chevy.

rcfreak:
lol
Not everyone wants to spend 70 grand to get the same power they can get for 7 grand though.
Mopars are nice but also WAY overpriced for what they are.
I think someones been watching too many episodes of the dukes of hazard.
crazzed1969: The car is sold by the looks of it.
Its a 1977 so doesn't need emmisions testing done in here in Ontario.

My old man is all about the mopars. He has a 67 correnette. The only one I have is a Dodge Durango as my winter vehicle :)
I'm all about chevy's and GM. My first car was a chevette.. heh.. then a chevelle.. and a couple of chevy gm show trucks. and the monza here.
I can appreciate a Hemi charger.. or a road runner. I just wouldn't spend the money on one even though I can afford to.

yah, I'd have to agree with you about the resale value.. Click on my name and look at my newest video with my Denali in it.
I have a fortune into that truck that I'll never see again. But I'm happy with it.
The monza is now sold at $5500 I paid 11000 for it.
I'm happy to see it go to someone who appreciates it.. Congrats Polley4 on getting this machine.. Light Car + Big Block Chevy = Fun times..
