I'm just wondering how much coffee to water ratio? I have the same coffee maker and usually start my day making it to the eight cup mark, but I have to complaints. Firstly, my coffee never seems hot enough, I checked the Black & Decker website for a manual to see if it could be adjusted and there wasn't any info on that. Secondly, my coffee never tastes as good as a cup of Tim Hortons. I use about 1/3 cup of grounds to 8 cups of water. Any advice would be appreciated.
@ScantiLee To taste like tim hortons, you will need to use their coffee, or find a brand that is close to it. You could try adding more grounds or switching to a fuller flavor roast. If the coffee is not very hot, then that is more likely your problem, mine gets very hot. If you need to, you can pre heat the water, i have seen people do that with good results. good luck.
