Everytime I hear Spinnerette I feel like crying... there are so few women in punk to look to for inspiration... I can't believe we lost her.  This music is fucking terrible. The Distillers gave me hope and then Spinnerette came along and fucking took it away!

I didn't like spinnerette at first but latley I have realised how truly marsterful brodys new stuff is. I get where brody is coming from, if you played heavy stuff for years night after night you would probably want to try a change of direction aswell.

Tbh, I really didn't like this song when I first heard it, but I listened to it recently, about a year or so afterwards and I love it. So if you're looking for punk music, I wouldn't suggest listening to this, but this isn't punk music, so I don't understand why you came here. Brody grew up, she didn't sell out.

I understand an artist trying to evolve over time, and I understand people feeling loyalty to a band or a person that really meant something to them when they first heard them. But this blind devotion to artists no matter what they do because we fell in love with them at a weird time in our lives is kind of ridiculous. Spinnerette sucks. There's really no way around it.
