SNCF doen t care to have tgv who can do 500kmph everyday...the most important is to show that we can do that and more than 570kmph...
France, and Alstom especially have the experience and the capacity to built incredible fast train like this one and as if ICE is a good train..not as the same level as tgv and Agv tech!

OK, the record is great, but they feeded the catenary with 29kV instead of 25kV, wheels were slightly bigger...some say the motor were more powerful, ok this is a tgv design, but not so standard finally. What would really be great would be a real standard 10 or more cars set running at safely at 450kmh

I have great respect about the unbelieavable record-performances of the TGV (none else realized such a great result) but this wasn't a "serial" or "common" TGV.
