@MrJeff281 I can hear it with no problem. Guess it would depend on your pipes and where you have it mounted. Take a look at my other one where I moved them in.
yeah the amp so far is staying cool. It is not fully enclosed on the backside of the compartment so it appears to be getting enough air to keep it cool. So far so good.
ya, it says 250 but read the specs and test the wattage out the sub jack. You're getting 100 to the front and 150 to the sub. Without the sub running it runs as a 100wtt amp. That's what i meant. But who really gives a crap. It does sound good. Just watch heat from that amp.
@willmarth2 if you are looking for something that will rattle the house, windows then no. However it is about the same as a factory system on an Ultra Classic. Also remember that when not in an enclosed area such as a car or home, the acoustics are very different in open air. You will not get that big bass sound from 3" speakers. May consider the sub woofer if you have room.
@sokodad I really don't have a problem but have to say that my pipes are stock. Even though they are not that quite they are not as loud as a straight pipe. What I do is max out the mp3 players volume then raise or lower the systems volume with the remote for the shark system. I can say this. My wife told me that I was going to get into trouble since I live in the city limits and they heard it when I was still around 200 yards from the house. The windshield does help break the wind noise also.
@aldofrodo. Probably Gooddeals would be a better source to answer this than I. All I can say that if it gets wet and it stops working I will post it but that hasn't happened ........ yet. Actually I would think that it is not but that is just my opinion as of right now. Kind of doubt that any remote would be if there is any space between the buttons and the housing but again just my opinion. Thanks for the question though. Gives me some thoughts on a waterproof case for it.
Great video and great work on the bike and neat work. "Did you miss me while I was gone?" Hmm, wonder if we should ask Todd that since you and I left PCI? LOL
Hows the volume on the road at say 80 mph?

Awesome system! Did you end up re-mounting the speakers? Seems like they'd get in the way of your legs. Otherwise, righteous tunes!

@rexxcarz They never came close to my legs but I did move them for better sound. See my channel.

50 watts max to get a true 100 watts it would take a amp that is at least 12inches long and wide

just Got mine today , the 250 watt system , WORKS Great on my VTX13
RobeZamm 9 months ago
It's actually a 100 watt system you're using. 150 of the 250 advertised is for the woofer.
Whyzguy 10 months ago
@Whyzguy nope it is the 250 watt system. Now have the subwoofer on it. Will put an update when I get a chance.

I have a Harley also with fairly loud pipes. Can you hear the system pretty good out on the road with all the wind and road noise and bike sound?
