@justwealth They are for the most part, yes. Only the Argentine locale, though. The Colombian tegus are a little more tricky to tame. Savannah monitors are fairly easy to tame as well, whereas the species of tree monitors are very tricky.

That is an impressive animal. It is obvious you take amazing care of it....being a tegu keeper myself, I am especially fond of them. I am very impressed with the temperment of yours....was it always that well behaved? Or was it a fighter when it was smaller?

You take the mouse, Leave it out for a while, wait, then your mouse is defrosted. Or put it in a glass of warm (not hot) water.

make sure the mouse if completely defrosted. Feel the spin a bit. if its still icy cold, leave it out more. it usually takes like an hour. i do and hour and 30 minutes just to be sure.

No, pine is toxic to reptiles, so is cedar. And if you want an adult in a permanent enclosure, 6 feet is not large enough. This is just his winter enclosure.
