The most interesting thing for me about the Moberley case is Marie Antionette's green fichu. i dont ever recall hearing of or ever seeing in a painting a pale green fichu. When one allowed themselves to be painted they would want their image portrayed in a pristine white fichu. It is these little inconsistencies that make the case facinating

I love stuff like this. My own belief is that sometimes, somehow the past "imprints" itself on locations and we sometimes catch a glimpse of same. Mind you, I must also point out eyewitness reports are notoriously unreliable. Over a dozen witnesses to the JFK killing gave detailed accounts--which flatly contradicted film taken at the time.

It actually makes more sense to me that the major cause for ghost sightings are timeslips. But the ways in which they happen vary. Another explanation could be that the event that took place in history was so traumatic that it left an imprint on the Earth...can't really specify the science behind it because it's just speculation, but it would cause the event to be recorded and replayed many times thus giving the appearance of a ghost or ghosts. Very interesting story aswell, thanks.

We used to live in an isolated street in Virginia, and one night my husband and I both heard a gun shot from outside our window. There was nobody there, no place to hide really. My hubby and a friend drove through Italy in the 70`s when they got lost on a country road in the middle of the night. They seemed to be travelling in circles when suddenly they found themselves in a village where there was a little carnival taking place, but all the rides were empty although the music was playing. The doors to the homes were open but there was not a human to be seen.Later we discovered that the village was wiped out in WW2 by the Nazis.

The town does NOT exist anymore.

when there there was an italian partisan attac on them, assuming that the men must have come

from that village . The Duce was already no longer in power, and the German Army tried to hold

the anti fashists back which were hiding in the woods, but kicking because the allies were landed.

The key word to take note of in this presentation is "women." It is clear that on the second trip the women, not sure of their directions, lost their way and took a different road with no "spectral mansion." It is a shame that they did not have a map, they could have pulled it out, looked it over carefully, and then still took the wrong way.
