It might surprise you to see how crummy the BA are now in game terms in 5th. Rending is nerfed and FNP is nerfed, so the Death Company isn't nearly as powerful as it once was. They aren't horrible, but they aren't the BA of old certainly. The Black Templars though... with that Preferred Enemy vow, they are beasts.

I like the scheme. Very striking. I don't know about the Chaos bits, but I assume that ties into the client's fluff.

yeah i agree, as a former blood angel player/fan 5th ed, and the nerfing of a few of their rules and what not, has really made them toned down.

but they are still an effective close combat chapter, and can still show firceness, just not as greatly as they once could
