I listened to this song for the first time ... 3 years ago? And I'm just listening back, having looked up the lyrics for the first time. I thought this had an effect on me then, but coupled with a knowledge of the lyrics, it's outta this world.

@UchihaLadies Its not that hard to figure out, the name is most likely Raymond's idea. His band is called PIG, and him also doing work with SOW. So calling this project SCHWEIN only makes sense :) He also wrote the music for "Yellow Pig" on Sakurai's solo album "Ai no Wakusei"

Also if anyone's ever wondered where Sakurai got that Pig ring...well, now you know ;)

yep he's Atsushi Sakurai..also Hisashi Imai from B-T is a part of this group too ^^

Yes that is Imai Hisashi from Buck Tick, also Fuji Maki from Soft Ballet is part of this band. The other singer is Raymond Watts from KMFDM and PIG. Sascha Konietzko from KMFDM contributes to synths as part of Schwein. If I remember correctly they all met eachother when KMFDM toured in Japan.

This song is addicting. My only complaint is that they totally overused the synth on Atsushi Sakurai's voice. I don't it was needed because he already has an awesome voice.

they only used the vocoder, or what you are reffering to as the "Synth on his voice", a couple of times. And that is to give his voice a synthetic, or robotic quality. Not to enhance it. This industrial music, not J-Rock.
