  • the POP has better filtration and doesn't collect dirt near as much as the HKS.

  • hey a friend is selling me a 300zx 2+2, 5 speed manual for 2000. do u guys think its a good price because it needs tires and brakes. dont care about the t.t.

  • It's a Jim Wolf ECU, you can find upgraded NA ecu's at any 300ZX performance website

  • it means Naturally Aspirated, otherwise known as non-turbo. (or any other forced induction such as a supercharger)

  • that sounds pretty good you have a good amount of mods done to it have u ever ran it at the track?

  • Mods at the time are in the description, with my current setup (added tires, fuel controller, and a bunch of suspension) my quickest 1/8 mile is a 9.7 @ 73.9, I'm really building the car for autocross though.

  • hrm, you are hoping for 215 hp at the wheels? what motor is in that baby? from the sounds of it, that is standard transmission, so if you got the vg30dett (twin turbo) you should be happy to see the big 300. that is only if you have the manual transmission and the twin turbo :) good luck and post your results please

  • Over estimated a little... pulled 194.5 at the wheels, but I need to have my AFR and cam timing re-tuned. I just set my ignition timing back to factory settings as it was 5* off. I should be able to get it tuned in about a month, so until then not too much WOT!

  • And the DETT pushes about 235RWHP in stock form, mines an NA so stock is around 175RWHP

  • NA meaning Naturally Aspirated correct? :P meh, turbos or no, the 300z is sexy. I live in canada, so i am going to be trying to snag a 1990-92 Fairlady z with the vg30dett :)

  • ..215 at the rear isnt impossible for a NA.. hell im sitting on 198.6

    .. and twin turbo.. 235 at rear... but its rather easy with twinies to get them up to about 300+ rwhp..

    Think if ur getting ur NA to about 200rwhp then ur going fairly good.

  • You can get 350+ at the wheels on stock turbos + fuel system using pump gas :) Which costs far less than getting am NA to ~230RWHP...

  • oh yeah i know ! LOL>. i mean.. hey.. i got a cat back system.. pod filter, fuel pump and injectors.. running tail shaft and gear system.. and thats getting me pushing 200 LOL (maybe just over with right oils and fuels on a good day).. but that cost enough LOL..

  • Yep, the first time I drove a twin turbo that's when I said "well... no more money into this motor, time to save for a swap!" $2500 in mods for a measly 30RWHP... the $2500 I put into the suspension was way more worth it

  • Yeah it's a blast to drive. I just started drag racing at my local 1/8 mile track so expect more vids! (I'm kinda embaressed to tell my times lol, I gotta learn how to launch!)
