@baknbak I didn't question their talent anyway, Eric Clapton has had his moments of brilliance (his solo work has been disappointing), and Pavarotti was dominant in his field I believe (I find the operatic style of singing tiresome however: having a standardised technique removes room for self expression from the performer. Of course the point is to relay exactly what the composer envisioned, but I find it too impersonal)

@befuchs It works really does, you've got to go deeper than just style, it showcases music at its bare essence you'd be surprised the links between both Classical and Blues. The phrasing for example. I found playing the guitar gave me a broader appreciation of all styles. It really works as a collibrative piece and takes two greats
