CCleaner I won't use but guys in the power options you can find balanced performance, power saver and high performance. Usually is on balance performance but u can change on high performance so your CPU will work faster and it might help in gaming. Just making CPU to run faster, it also will reduce CPU life time but it's simple to understand. However high performance is not risky, just CPU will work as it has to work and anyway one day still u will need to change CPU (processor).

for a 5-10fps gain in most games, while game is running press ctrl altend and delete buttons at same time to bring up screen, click start task messenger, click on tab called applications, looks for the application of the game you are running and right click on it, than click go to process, right click on the process that is highlighted and click set priority to high. exit out of task messenger and maxamize your game and enjoy the fps boost.
