Saw this fantastic awe-inspiring performance with 5 family members last Friday evening (June 4). If possible, I could see it over and over.

I was very impressed by Elton John's decision to not include in his musical the last few minutes of the 2000 movie. For me, the last scene (movie) was totally inappropriate. It should have ended (as Elton John wisely chose) with Billy's future totally open after his acceptance to the Royal Ballet. Did not need to know about the future of Billy's friend.
