either way, the fact is that there are troops out there that *knowingly* commit these crimes and admit to it. they're criminals and there *is* documented evidence of this.
but even though code pink might seem like exaggeration, it's not so preposterous.
these crimes are widespread and arguably institutionalized, therefore you could argue that the whole USMC and the US and its leaders are war criminals, for putting these policies of war crimes in place.
so even though, obviously, not every single marine is a war criminal, the organization as a whole institutes policies that promote war crimes.

United States Marines give there lives in order to protect the lifestyle these people live, and their right to call them "war criminals." I'm just a middle class college undergraduate, but I think thats pretty messed up. A Marines job is to put foot to ass for his country, and take the fight to the enemy. This lady is obviously choosing to exercise her 1st amendment right. This is especially so in a war were the enemy purposely hides amongst the civilian population. People in the military who are responsible for collateral damage must be held accountable in accordance to the uniform military code of law. To constitute a crime there needs to be 3 things. 1.) actus reus, or a guilty act; 2.) mens rea, or guilty mind; 3.) concurrence between the 2. the code pink ladies speak of the USMC in general (though this video is heavily edited). i say there are marines that commit war crimes..not that the USMC as a whole are committing war crimes. (even though i could argue that these war crimes are directed and supported from top-level admin)
either way, the fact is that there are troops out there that *knowingly* commit these crimes and admit to it. they're criminals and there *is* documented evidence of this.

these crimes are widespread and arguably institutionalized, therefore you could argue that the whole USMC and the US and its leaders are war criminals, for putting these policies of war crimes in place.
so even though, obviously, not every single marine is a war criminal, the organization as a whole institutes policies that promote war crimes.
