My little cousin and I came to Disney World, and we were walking down some road, and suddenly we heard this person singing behind us. We instinctively turned, and we saw CInderella! To see my cousin's bright little eyes become even wider was so magical to me.
im 34 and its my dream to take my fiancee and our kids come to disney unfortuneately im not so sure ill ever get to do that.my mom and dad took me and my sisters,i had always hoped to do it with mine.*sigh* this video made me cry happy tears of memories and of things i want to do with my kids so bad.
This is such a wonderful video. I spent 10 days at Disney World over the recent Christmas/New Year's holidays, and it was so rewarding to watch the cast members as they performed their "jobs" and to see the smiles on their faces. We tried to spot some of the cast members from this video, but were not able to see/recognize anyone. Of course, it was during the holidays, so the place was mobbed. Does anyone know if most of the cast members in the video are still working at the parks? Thanks.

@spidergal777 Apart from the volunteer jobs that are offered at Disney World and Disneyland, there are certain character performer roles that you can take on. They are difficult to get into as you have to really have that magical spark in your heart to share with others, but you can work at 16 as certain characters. I always wnated to work at Disney for a brife moent I got to exprance the magic I was on line for the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and thir was a litte girl form make a wish who was taping me and pointing she i stoped and said hi in my stich voice she simled and she wanted my pins so I pined the one she wanted and said this is for you princes it fr mickey this is for you, her mom look like she was going to cry as she tks me. to this day I truly know why they cast luv to make dreams come true
One of the things I absolutely love about Disney is the fact that I have Asperger Syndrome, and yet because of my love for making people smile, I still got accepted into the Disney College Program and got to make and experience magic first hand! At Disney they do not look at disabilities, they want anyone who are willing to make magic and thus experience magic everyday! That is why I am a cast member and why I cannot wait to become full-time after I graduate college this semester!

People who work in the parks are there to help make dreams come true. I got the opportunity to help serve a little girl a cupcake with her name on the plate and I think she really felt like a princess. Working at Disney is truly a magical experience. Actually these are real people that work there...you know there is actually people at disneyland that LOVE their job even if they are a ticket taker. They are happy with their job. But yes there are a select few that are just doing the job to make some money. But disneyland is truley a great job..for me at least.

Honestly, Disney Cast Members are a beacon of magic during very troubled and gloomy times America is having right now. They are tasked with making us happy and allowing us an escape. Each of these special people seem to be more than capable! Amazing video, very moving and very true.
I've always really loved this commercial. Every friend I have in my life is tied to Disney in some way either by a family member or by working there. My father and I were asked to be in this commercial and we know some of the people in this. It makes me cry every time I watch it. It motivates me to get back to Disney where I always feel I am part of the Walt Disney family.
Working at Disney really inspires you if you have the right mindset.

I love this video. I have the same reactions as these Cast Members while just being a Guest. To see a child's face light up is one of the most powerful things to witness. And to know that one day I may get a chance to trigger that gleam in their eyes is an amazing feeling. I've always loved kids and loved to help people. You really can make dreams come true every day, and it's unbelievable how powerful is the sensation you feel looking from the inside of your character's head when you see smiles of children around you.
i have a question, do you need to be able to speak both french and english fluently to work as a character? because i only speak english, but i really want a chance at the job you're doing! also, any tips for auditioning?
Walt is my hero! I wish I lived close enough to the parks to have a year-round pass! Maybe someday! And I hope I can marry a cast-member or former cast-member too, ha. Preferably one of the character actresses. ;) My dream was always to be a Disney animator, but when I finished college was when they were firing animators instead of hiring. I'm starting out as a cartoonist/illustrator now. I did work at a Disney Store once as a "seasonal" employee, ha. I was very proud of my nametag.
I wanna go on audition next year for CM at Disneyland. That would be a dream come true for me! Working with those little kids, making this fantasy-land reality for them. It would be the best thing ! Gotta love the magic of Disneyland!
The woman at the end makes me cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch this! People sometimes don't understand how emotional being a Cast Member can be, but it is and it's amazing how magic actually does come from that emotion!
I'm a CM and there has been plenty of times I've caught myself crying just from interacting one on one with every guest. Hearing their stories...I'm blessed to have that opportunity :)

i love seaworld, don't get me wrong and everyone has their preferences, but disney isn't fake. disney is just geared towards kids (no matter what their age) and keeping magic alive.
seaworld is meant to show the bond between animals and humans, its a different sort of magic they create for their guests...so please don't compare the two.
can you tell me how you got to be a cast member?? that is what i would like to during the summers of my college years. i will graduate in 2010, and i plan on having a double major [theatre and history] with a minor in secondary education [so i can teach history or theatre in a middle school or high school]. i would REALLY appreciate the info!

I've always really loved this commercial. Every friend I have in my life is tied to Disney in some way either by a family member or by working there. My father and I were asked to be in this commercial and we know some of the people in this. It makes me cry every time I watch it. It motivates me to get back to Disney where I always feel I am part of the Walt Disney family.
Working at Disney really inspires you if you have the right mindset.

I love this video. I have the same reactions as these Cast Members while just being a Guest. To see a child's face light up is one of the most powerful things to witness. And to know that one day I may get a chance to trigger that gleam in their eyes is an amazing feeling. I've always loved kids and loved to help people. So being a Cast Member would be the ultimate job and MY dream come true.

I'm working in Disneyland Paris right now as Character & Parade and It's all true.
You really can make dreams come true every day, and it's unbelievable how powerful is the sensation you feel looking from the inside of your character's head when you see smiles of children around you.

Walt is my hero! I wish I lived close enough to the parks to have a year-round pass! Maybe someday! And I hope I can marry a cast-member or former cast-member too, ha. Preferably one of the character actresses. ;) My dream was always to be a Disney animator, but when I finished college was when they were firing animators instead of hiring. I'm starting out as a cartoonist/illustrator now. I did work at a Disney Store once as a "seasonal" employee, ha. I was very proud of my nametag.

The woman at the end makes me cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch this! People sometimes don't understand how emotional being a Cast Member can be, but it is and it's amazing how magic actually does come from that emotion!

i love seaworld, don't get me wrong and everyone has their preferences, but disney isn't fake. disney is just geared towards kids (no matter what their age) and keeping magic alive.
seaworld is meant to show the bond between animals and humans, its a different sort of magic they create for their guests...so please don't compare the two.

can you tell me how you got to be a cast member?? that is what i would like to during the summers of my college years. i will graduate in 2010, and i plan on having a double major [theatre and history] with a minor in secondary education [so i can teach history or theatre in a middle school or high school]. i would REALLY appreciate the info!
