  • if I'm the passer, I would lob the pass.

  • This isnt very good defense...

  • if there is a smart passer and a smart post player pass it baseline and all you have to do is seal the man off and its an easy bucket

  • This would never work... If he catches that ball, he's screwed and number 2, any legit post player is going to be agressive and use one of his forearms to keep you from being able to steal it if he catches it.

  • lol this shit doesnt work

  • This could be dangerous because, once the defender moves in front , the offensive post player can nudge him forward a little to give himself more space, then the pass can be made over top the defender, to the post player.

  • soooooo many smart asses

  • Is it just me or is he humping on his leg ?

  • what happens if the guy GETS the ball?

  • @TheRedBull223 nothing bcuz this guy dony no wat 2 do

  • ont take advice from white folks

  • @OMGItsGodzilla10 ...is the key to failure in life.

  • @OMGItsGodzilla10 Dean Smith,John Woodin,Pat Reiley,Larry Brown,Phil Jackson-Just a few of the greatest coaches and all are white so shut the fuck up!

  • everybody watch out matrix123xyz is a petifile guard your children

  • you could just pass it over the head of the defender, offensive player spins around and now the defensive player is way out position. offensive player gets an uncontested layup. at 1:00 thats proper defensive

  • yu gottah front it tu yu know

  • the kid starts humping the other kids leg at 1:30

  • luvrodeo. . .The passer is out of the picture. This is an effective technique to guard and effective post player. You have to get your body into them and if you do full front, you are susceptible to the ball reverse and dumb down. The most difficult part of doing this is if the post player knows what he is doing, it's difficult and takes max work to step over in front of him.

  • LMAO! this is my gym teacher and gonna b my basketball coach lol

  • You mention Ian is between basket and man and he most defently not in that position. Also he has his back turned towards the ball and is not properly position for good defense!! He also does not have good space from his man! This I do not agree is proper defense!!

  • you can just box him out.

  • that kid was dry humping the other one but this is a helpful video .. next chance i get ima try it

  • next Kobe right ther

  • that was a lil close

  • or depending on the defense you are running you could just straight up front the guy which makes passes really hard and if they pass over your head you got your help defence their to hook you up

  • nice tips, i always had problem denying those passes

  • nappa : (o__0) vegeta what does the scouter say about his defending abilities!? vegeta: (*O*) they're over NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!

  • Well, how to you defend a guy posting up if he's much stronger than you and he just keeps pushing.

  • @matrix123xyz lol wtf

  • @matrix123xyz gayyyy

  • hhaaaaja

  • @matrix123xyz What the fuck? That's just sick! Why is everybody thumbing this up?????

  • this is more defending the pass. if the offensive player caught a pass the d would be screwed hes in no position to stop a post move from there

  • cool

  • THIS WAS A GREAT HELPFUL VIDEO!!!

  • the kid with the red looks like he defend the erea from UFO's 0:14

  • lol made me laugh

  • but watch out for lobb passes.

  • It's good to go over the top when switching from high-side denial to low side because it is then easier to defend against the drive from the offensive wing player with the basketball (assuming that he hasn't already used his dribble).

  • You own

  • It all depends really, I find going infront of the defender is quite risky. You go infront of the defender, I can just lob the pass and your opponent is already infront of you faced to the ring. Or I can just throw an alley oop.

I always want to make sure my body is keeping him away from the ring. My body will always be blocking between HIM and the RIM.

  • True for 2 on 2 or 3 on 3, but for 5 on 5, I think this is a better way of playing defense in the post. We just hope that your teammate is in help defense to deny the lob against an athletic opponent with hops, lol.

  • i agree

  • very nice, definitely learned something here.

  • nice and simple; i learned something ;) thanks

  • great defense
