I've trained ju-jitsu at this dojo for about 6 yrs now on and off. The instructors there really stick to tradition and train in the very minute details of each technique. That's why I keep coming back.
Shihan Roseberry is a legend. I train with Shihan Bill Brassette in Colorado, who began training with Roseberry in 1970. I still plan on visiting the Hombu dojo in Lincoln... eventually. What an incredible experience.
Awesome...Can an adult beginner just attend any of the classes listed on a per class basis? That's kind of how the website made it seem to me. I'm 22 and might be moving to Lincoln in July or August. Sorry for the repeat posts by the way, they didn't show up at first.
I practice here, though I'm still a novice and I haven't been in a while due to time constraints. I plan to start going back again soon... John is an amazing man.
It is not the place that you feel...it is THE MAN and his history. Undeniably the most experienced Shoreikan practicioner, in continuous practice, in the world. I love this man, Roseberry Tanmei. He is one of our giants.
the disapline in the dojo is grate. i am a student of Silverstrand Dojo and just by looking at the video you know devotion and honor among the students and the teachers.
Thanks for posting this video. It gives us younger bujutsuka something to shot for. Osu
