  • eating clean and a daily 15 minute jump session will get you CUT fast! You don't need to kill yourself with P90x and all that other crap. You can do this at the house with the tv on, music playing. Throw in 2-3 lift days/wk and you're ready for the beach.

  • when i was n my 20's my tummy was flat and butt was like BAM. when i got n my 40's my butt was getting flat and my tummy was like BAM (heavy sigh) i started jumping rope and doing push ups and i can't believe the results. if u wanna lose weight fast just jump rope oh and don't forget to TRY and eat clean

  • @rihannalove Yeè, totally agree with you there. Using that very diet program, my partner lost a ton of weight in a matter of weeks. He had always been skeptical about Internet programs, but this time he was proved wrong :)

  • @mladenbla i just got into doing that and along jumproaping on the second day i was able to do the are crossing its actually simple while you get use to doing the jumprope on the second jump right arfter its out from under you feet and just about above your head you put your arms togeather and then you pull them away i did five the first time then i did eight because i kept experamenting lol once i did it i was like wow im doing it i just got an adjustable one ima test out too today!!

  • Hey Rob, jumping rope after about 2-3 minutes really starts to hurt my lower calf muscles, i get a sharp pain down there which i no longer am able to continue. I can barely walk down the stairs right after, but the pain goes away after an hour or 2. I wear basketball shoes, and i jump normally, i dont have a problem skipping, just the pain becomes killer. maybe i need to warm up my ankles?

  • @sandshir be sure to stretch your calve muscle several times a day to help solve this problem and you may need to wear different sneakers, try some track sneakers when you jump

  • Be careful of your calf muscles , you can injure them very easily . strech is a must .

  • hello....i usually jumping rope for 20-22 minutes alternate day from my lifting weight day...i jump for 2 minutes non stop,rest 30secs then continue jumping for 2 minutes,rest for 1minutes..and repeat the step until i done all in 20-22 minutes including rest...is it enough to burn fa...this already killing me...need your opinion and advice please..thanks

  • @keekozi this sounds like a great routine you have going, get a calorie counter to find out how many calories youre burning then you will be able to figure your weekly caloric deficit and thus be able to apply this to your diet in order to lose fat

    i would add,,,intensity should not be too high. otherwise you unnecessarily wasting energy stocks instead of fat

  • can i get ripped by jump roping a lot? meaning, the only cardio work out i can do w my spare time is jump roping..or do i need to mix it up w/ other cardio workouts so my body wont get used to jump roping all the time.

  • @kramallidap you can do this routine everyday, as long as you increase your speed, and footwork and increase the amount of time that you jump. this is a surefire way to burn fat.

  • I used the macaroni and cheese jump rope, you know the plastic rings around the rope, it does not tangle and it is heavy so it adds intensity to your workout
