They chose to go soft and mellow for a small setting on Kimmel. It's actually nice to see the lead singer not being all about going hard and rocking out.....he did this song perfectly and it's pretty refreshing.

I've seen them in concert a few times. They are pretty good. The only prob i had with them wasn't really their fault. one of their concerts was in a small theater.  The accoustics were bad and you could hear his vocals at all. But like I said, not shinedowns fault the venue was lousy. They always put on a great show!!!

I'm a huge fan, but I don't like what's happening to Brent's voice. I remember seeing them live in 2005 after Us and Them came out, he was hitting some crazy notes and sounded awesome. Now he sounds used up and tired... He's also much fatter, I wonder if that had any impact.

This si a performance on Jimmy Kimmels' show. Trust me there is more power to this song & to this band & to Brent Smith's performance, if you've ever seen them live. it's one of the weaker songs on the album. Devour, Sound of Madness, Cyanide Sweet Tooth Suicide, The Crow & The Butterfly are all MUCH better songs. Not that this is a bad song, but if you think it's one of the best songs you've ever heard then you must not listen to much music. Shinedown is one of my favorite bands, but still.
